SPECIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR COMPETITORS, STEWARDS & JUDGES Rochester A & P Association is conducted under VAS Ltd Rules and Regulations. It is the responsibility of all Competitors, Stewards and Judges to make themselves aware of these rules. A Copy of these rules will be available from the Secretary. ALL ENTRY FEES MUST BE PAID IN ADVANCE OR AT THE TIME OF ENTRY NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS NB. Intending exhibitors will please peruse the rules regarding entries, and particularly specify the sections under which they purpose exhibiting, as they must be rigidly adhered to. Cash, Cheques and Post Office Money Orders may be forwarded as payment of entry. NO EFTPOS available. ALL ANIMAL ENTRIES INCLUDE 30 CENTS INSURANCE FEE. THE ATTENTION OF EXHIBITORS IS PARTICULARLY DRAWN TO THE CONDITIONS RELATING TO THE MISUSE OF DRUGS, AND THE COMMITTEE MAY UNDERTAKE RANDOM TESTING FOR FORBIDDEN SUBSTANCES A. The use of tranquillizers, stimulants, or any drugs capable of affecting the performance or behavior of animals is forbidden. B. Competitors are advised that tests for forbidden substances may be carried out during the Show and that testing of all animals is at the owner s risk. Group winners (finalists) will be invited to participate in the State Final at the annual VAS Convention. Finalists will be invited to submit their resume prior to the State Final and this will be sent to the judges. Finalists will attend a formal interview with the Judges and the winner will be announced at the annual VAS dinner at a cost to be advised closer to the Convention.
