It is with great deal of enthusiasm we present to your our valued customer Only The Good Ones Sell The livestock business is on the upswing with 1000lb steers fetching excess of $1,100. I believe we are heading for the Klondike in the near future. Last fall as some of you may have noticed, we did not exhibit breeding cattle at the Fall Shows; reason being mother was awaiting a call for knee surgery and with this hanging overhead, the decision was reached. Have everything in place, have to cancel at the last, meant; Show cattle were not in the yards and I truly needed to tweak my culinary skills with mom laid up. With that said I did have the privilege and honor to be one of the judges at the Royal Bank Supreme Champion at Agribition. I must say it was an absolute honor to be amongst so many top caliber cattle, to say the least! The group of bulls is exciting, quite and possibly the most uniform to date. They possess hair, volume, muscle and are athletic as ever, with all the deep snow in their 20 acre field. It is tough walking, I will vouch for them. They will flat work. The females certain to enhance most any program. Footnotes have been intentionally left out to let the heifers speak for themselves in an unbiased or unpredjudist manor. An operation can't achieve a record like this without the support of customers. The product produced at Early Sunset has met with customer approval and allowed the Grants to be in this business all these years. The bull offering this year is truly outstanding. these fellas have been developed in a large area and have to travel from one end of the filed to the other for feed or water. They are in the right condition, stout made, athletic and ready to go to work. The Angus bulls represent 60 years of genetic selection that have kept the Early Sunset program a supplier of herd sires for both the purebred and commercial industries. In the Simm/Angus "Profitmaker" bulls you will find individuals that will add some extra punch to you British based cow herd. These bulls are raised and developed under the same conditions. When Jim started his Simmental herd, he decided to use his purebred Angus cows as a base and develop his program from there. In doing so you can rest assured that the genetics behind these females have had to perform at a level to keep them in a purebred operation. Early Sunset Bull Guarantee Early Sunset guarantees to provide you with a sound, fertile bull capable of servicing a reasonable number of cows. Should your Early Sunset bull fail to be a satisfactory breeder, he will be replaced with a bull of equal value, or a credit will be given towards the purchase of another Early Sunset bull. If you have a problem with our bull please notify us immediately. Early Sunset $2 Dollar/Day From April 1 we will charge $2 per/day for keeping your bull for a reasonable length of time. We will keep your bulls under good management and care, developing them as we do our own breeding stock. If your bull(s) are left in our care and management we require you insure them against death.
