Interstate horses require a relevant Health Certificate/ Waybill.
4 Rules/Conditions The committee reserves the right to change or alter the program at any time. Committee and Judges decision is final. Mini, Junior & Juvenile competitors (As per ACA rule B.5(e)) Riders under the age of 18 must wear a helmet at all ACA affiliated events. Helmets must comply with current safety standards and be securely fastened under the chin at all times. Encouragement Rider (As per ACA rule.4) An Encouragement Campdraft competitor shall be 17 years and over. Who has not won an Open age draft (i.e. Maiden, Novice, Open, Ladies, Associates) or a restricted draft as in 9.3 and 9.4. Competitors cease to be eligible to compete after winning One (1) Encouragements, or one (1) open age campdraft or placing 3 times in an open age campdraft. Maiden Rider (As per ACA rule.5) A Maiden Campdraft competitor must not have won a Campdraft that breaks a horse s status. i.e. Maiden, Maiden 4 Maiden, Novice, Open, Restricted Open, Ladies or a restricted draft as in 9.3. Horse Status (As per ACA rule 9.4)The status of a horse winning a campdraft will be determined by the highest class of horse with exception of Juniors, Juveniles, Ladies, Old Buffers, Associates and Encouragement Campdrafts. The winner attains the status of the highest class of horse participating e.g. if one Open horse competes then it is classed as an Open draft. ASHS and AQHA High Point Awards All competitors wishing to enter horses in registered classes are reminded that horses need to be registered to a current financial member and the rider must be a current financial member of the relevant association. Proof of registration and current membership must be produced if required. Aggregate scores High Point Awards, Highest cut-out, Highest dry-work and Highest wet-work prizes will be calculated on First Round scores. All other high score prizes will be calculated over the whole program by combining scores from all sections. Age determination The age of horses will be calculated from the first day of August in the year it was foaled. All horses foaled before the first of August in any year, shall be deemed one year old on that date. Challenges held from 1st August to 31st December horses will be Five Years and Under. Any horse that is a 4 year old prior to 1st August will become a 5 year old on 1st August and may continue to compete in the 5 & Under Challenge for that calendar year. Any horse that is a 5 year old prior to 1st August will become a 6 year old on 1st August and so is not eligible to compete in the 5 & Under Challenge. For the purpose of this event registration papers, registered brands, Managers/ Owners declaration, or veterinary/ committee inspection shall determine age. The committee reserves the right to request the presentation of all registration documents and to inspect horses for proof of age. Disclaimer All competitors whilst competing do so at their own risk. At C working trot 20 metre circle to the right. 5. At C working canter 20 metre three-quarter circle to the right. 6. Canter straight to D. Halt and roll back to the left. 7. Canter straight to E. Halt and roll back to the right. 8. On light rein canter around work area back to C, from C trot straight to B. 9. At B halt, back up 3 paces, hesitate and return to A at a walk..
