What can d t avid this? ce is a prus material and is likely t absrb drs frm surrunding areas. ce cubes that have been in the ice strage bin fr a cnsiderable length f time may pick up ff-flavr tastes, stick tgether, and gradually becme smaller. We suggest that these cubes be thrwn away. Other ways t cntrl ice cube dr are listed belw. The ice strage bin shuld be cleaned ccasinally in warm water. Be sure t put the icemaker feeler ann in the STOP (up) psitin when cleaning the bin. Rinse and wipe dry. Check fbr spiled r expired items and discard. Wrap all dr-causing fds, r stre fbds in tightly-sealed cntainers t prevent dr reccurance. Water filter (sme mdels) may need t be replaced. n sme cases, husehld water quality may need t be checked, lfa water filter is desired, a water filter may be rdered fr sme mdels. Cnfirm water pressure t water valve is between 20 and 100 punds per square inch. f water filter is installed, water pressure t water valve must be a minimum f 35 punds per square inch. DO NOT use a self=piercing, r 3/16"saddle valve! Bth reduce water flw, becme clgged with time, and may cause leaks if repair is attempted. Tighten nuts by hand t prevent crss threading. Finish tightening nuts with pliers and wrenches. D nt vertighten. Wait 24 hurs befre placing unit int final psitin t check and crrect any water leaks.
