Reset Yur Water Heater: After the pwer utage yu will need t reset the timer n yur water heater s that yur water will heated by slar pwer (instead f electricity) during the day. This will als ensure that yu and yur family have enugh ht water when yu need it. D nt attempt t pull a fire alarm in a building; the signal will nt reach the fire department. Ntificatins MCBH uses a system called ATHOC, which uses mbile app alerts, texting, phne calls, desktp ppups, and giant vice ntices thrughut the base t transmit messages. Once pwer restratin is cnfirmed, yur persnal electrical equipment may then be recnnected.

2 Fd Safety message If the pwer is ut fr less than fur hurs, the fd in yur refrigeratr and freezer is safe t cnsume. While the pwer is ut, keep the refrigeratr and freezer drs clsed as much as pssible t keep fd cld fr lnger. Or, place fd that may spil in a cler with ice. D nt pen freezer during this perid. If the pwer is ut fr lnger than fur hurs, fllw the guidelines belw: A freezer that is half full will hld fd safely fr up t 24 hurs. A full freezer will hld fd safely fr 48 hurs. D nt pen the freezer dr if yu can avid it. Fr the refrigeratr: Pack milk, ther dairy prducts, meat, fish, eggs, gravy, and spilable leftvers int a cler surrunded by ice.
