Lcatin: Germantwn Indr Swim Center, Central Park Circle, Byds, MD (240) lane, 25-yard pl, with nn-turbulent lane lines and cntinuus flw-thrugh gutters Water depth is 17 in lane 1 and 6 9 in lane 10 at the starting end and 13 5 at all the turning end. Separate 7 lane, 25 yard pl will be available fr cntinuus warm up/cl dwn. Diving is nt permitted in this pl. The cmpetitin curse has been certified in accrdance with C, and is n file with USAS. Clrad Electrnic Timing system, tuch pads, hrn start & a 10 lane screbard will be used. Autmatic timing (tuch pads primary) will be used fr this meet. Meet Schedule: - Friday Distance Events Warm-ups: 4:30 5:15 PM Event Start: 5:20 PM - & 9-10 Events Warm-ups: 7:00 7:50 AM Events Start: 7:55 AM and 12&Unders Events Warm-ups: 10:30 11:20 AM Event Start: 11:25 PM 13&Overs Events Warm-ups: 3:00 4:00 PM Event Start: 4:05 PM Warm-Up Prcedures: The prescribed Ptmac Valley Swimming warm-up prcedures and safety plicies will be fllwed. It may be necessary t assign lanes fr warm-up. Deck Access: All PVS/USAS registered caches and deck fficials are required t shw current 2018 USA Swimming membership credentials n the deck area. Anyne nt displaying prper credentials will be asked t leave the deck area. Parents nt wrking the meet as a deck fficial, vlunteer timer, r ther meet psitin are nt permitted n deck.

2 Eligibility: This meet is pen t invited USA Swimming Athletes f the fllwing clubs: NCAP (Maryland Sites), Tllefsn, and RMSC. Swimmers will cmpete at the age attained n the first day f the meet. It may be necessary t limit entries due t the time cnstraints. N 14&Under swimmer may enter an event if they have equaled r bettered the 2018 PVS 14&U JO Champinship qualifying standard fr their age as f 3/15/18. N 15&Over swimmer may enter an event if they have equaled r bettered the 2018 PVS Junir Champinship qualifying standard fr their age as f 3/8/18. Please refer t the link t review the abve meet standards: PVS and hst clubs alng with their Meet Directrs are cmmitted t the Inclusin Plicy as adpted by the BOD. Athletes with a disability are welcmed and are asked t prvide advance ntice f desired accmmdatins t the Meet Directr. The athlete (r the athlete s cach) is als respnsible fr ntifying the sessin referee f any disability prir t the cmpetitin. Meet Frmat: Seed times are shrt curse yards. Rules: Current USA Swimming rules will gvern this meet. All events are timed finals. A cntestant may enter n mre than three individual events per day, and n mre than six individual events fr the meet. The 500 Free & 400 IM will be swum fastest t slwest, alternating girls & bys heats. Swimmers must prvide their wn timers & cunter fr the 500 Free & 400 IM. Dive-ver starts will be used at this meet. The meet directr reserves the right t cmbine girls & bys events/heats in rder t reduce timelines. Psitive Check In: Psitive check-in will be required fr all events 400 yards and lnger. The Meet Directr will determine if psitive check-in will be necessary fr event 200 yards and lnger r all events in rder t maintain manageable timelines. Athletes wh have nt checked in prir t the specified time will be scratched frm the event. Athletes wh check int a deck-seeded event (psitively checked in), have been seeded and fail t swim the event will be barred frm their next scheduled individual event, unless excused by the referee befre the event takes place. Infrmatin regarding the pssibility f additinal check-in times and prcedures will be available the week prir t the meet in the frm f an t each participating club. N persnal chairs allwed n deck fr swimmers. N n-deck USAS registratin permitted. The Meet Directr and the PVS Technical Cmmittee reserve the right t limit events, heats, swimmers r adjust the frmat t cnfrm with the 4-hur prvisin fr the 12 &U sessins in Rule F. In cmpliance with USA Swimming Rules and Regulatins; the use f audi r visual recrding devices, including a cell phne is nt permitted in the changing areas, rest rms r lcker rms. As per PVS plicy; the use f equipment capable f taking pictures (i.e. cell phnes, cameras, PDA s etc) are banned frm behind the starting blcks during the entire meet, including warm up, cmpetitin and cl dwn perids. Any swimmer entered in the meet must be certified by a USA Swimming member-cach as being prficient in perfrming a racing start r must start each race frm within the water. When unaccmpanied by a member-cach, it is the respnsibility f the swimmer r the swimmer s legal guardian t ensure cmpliance with this requirement.

3 Deck changes are prhibited. Operatin f a drne, r any ther flying apparatus, is prhibited ver the venue (pls, athlete/cach areas, spectatr areas and pen ceiling lcker rms) any time athletes, caches, fficials and/r spectatrs are present. Warning: Any club that enters an unregistered athlete, falsifies an entry in any way, r permits an unregistered cach t represent them, will be fined the sum f $100.00, and n further entries will be accepted frm the club until the said fine is paid. All swimmers, caches and fficials must be prperly registered with USA Swimming fr Entry Infrmatin: - Entry Fees: $7.00 per individual event. - Entry Deadline: Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 11:59 PM. - Late entries will nt be accepted. - Meet Directrs are requested t acknwledge receipt by return within 24 hurs. Clubs submitting entries that d NOT receive an acknwledgement shuld cntact the Meet Directr by ther than t cnfirm receipt. Swim Center Rules and Cnduct At the request f Mntgmery Cunty Recreatin, swimmers are nt t leave the pl deck withut apprpriate attire. Caches will be respnsible fr the cnduct f their athletes while in the facility and surrunding grunds. Failure t fllw these rules r any inapprpriate behavir will result in the athlete being barred frm further cmpetitin in the meet. Parents will be respnsible fr the cnduct f any minr children that accmpany them. - N glass cntainers are permitted within the facility. - Swimmers must be in direct cntact with their supervising cach befre they will be allwed t enter the pl fr warm-up. - N camera cell phnes are permitted in the lcker rms.
