Eight lanes, 50-meter cmpetitin pl, 12 feet deep at the start end and 6.7 feet at the turn end; verflw gutters with nn-turbulent lane markers. Indr 6 lane 25 yard pl fr cntinuus warm-up, cl-dwn. DISABILITY SWIMMERS: Teams will be limited t 150 swimmers, except fr the hst team which will nt be limited. N n-deck USA Swimming athlete registratin will be permitted. Age n June 16, 2018 will determine age fr the entire meet. Athletes with a disability are welcmed and shall prvide advance ntice f desired accmmdatins t the Meet Directr. The athlete (r the athlete's cach) is als respnsible fr ntifying the sessin referee f any disability prir t the cmpetitin. FORMAT: Saturday, Sunday, Mnday: 13 & lder swimmers will swim in the mrning preliminary sessin with the tp and tp & lder swimmers cmpeting in A & B finals that evening. Finals will be swum B, then A and 15 & lder B, then A. Event #7 (800 Freestyle) and event # 60 (1500 Freestyle) will be timed final events and will be limited t 4 heats, with 3 heats swum in prelims and fastest heat f 13 & Older swimmers swum in finals. Saturday, Sunday, and Mnday: swimmers will swim preliminaries in the afternn sessin with the tp 8 swimming during finals in the evening. 10 & yunger swimmers will swim timed finals in the afternn sessin. Chase starts may be used at the discretin f the referee. A time trial may be ffered Mnday after finals fr any interested swimmers. Any event ffered in the meet may be swum in the time trial. WARM-UP: Mrning sessins: Warm-ups 7:00-7:30 AM general, 7:30 7:50 AM, specific lanes 1 & 8 pace and 2 & 7 sprint. Cmpetitin starts at 8:00 AM Afternn sessins: Warm-ups nt befre 12:30 PM; cmpetitin starts nt befre 1:30 PM. 1

2 Finals sessins: Warm-ups nt befre 5:00 PM, cmpetitin starts at nt befre 6:00 PM. Lane assignment and warm-up times fr individual clubs will be psted n the Pseidn website n later than Tuesday, June 12, 2018, and will als be ed t the cntact persn f the participating clubs. If the mrning sessin runs late, afternn warm-ups will begin immediately after the mrning sessin ends. ENTRIES: DEADLINE FOR THE RECEIPT OF ENTRIES IS THURSDAY JUNE 7, Entries must be submitted in lng curse meter times using Hy-Tek Team Manager and Cmmlink-2 sftware, r n a VSI master entry sheet. Teams will submit entries via . A Team Manager printut f entries must be included r the meet checklist/summary sheet with the name f the persn t cntact in case f questins must accmpany the entries, regardless f hw they are submitted. Fr 12 and yunger swimmers caches times will be accepted fr events in which a swimmer des nt have a time f recrd. N times are nt allwed. Swimmers may enter a maximum f 3 individual events a day. Entries will be prcessed in the rder received and accepted t the greatest extent pssible withut exceeding the 4-hur/sessin timeline limit. The Meet Directr reserves the right t limit entries in any events, if necessary, t prevent t lengthy a sessin. Failure t pay entry fees by this deadline culd result in teams being barred frm the meet. IMPORTANT: If payment is sent via Express Mail/FedEx/Airbrne/UPS/etc., please ensure that a signature is NOT required fr delivery as this will delay the receipt f yur entries. AWARDS: Individual events: Ribbns will be awarded fr first thrugh eighth place 13 & Over events will be given separate awards fr and Open age grups. 10 & Under events will be given separate awards fr 9-10 and 8 & Under age grups. Leis will be given t heat winners during prelims. SEEDING: All events will be deck seeded. Scratches are t be reprted t the admin table by using the scratch sheets prvided t each team in the team packet. Team scratch sheets must be turned in 45 minutes prir t the start f cmpetitin. 10 & Under events will be swum as timed finals events will be swum as prelims in the afternn with an A final (tp 8) swum at finals. 13 & Older events will be swum tgether in prelims and 15 & Older will swim an A & B final (tp 16), except fr the wmen s 800 Freestyle and the men s 1500 Freestyle. Event #7, Wmen s 800 Freestyle and Event #60 Men s 1500 Freestyle will be limited t 4 2

3 heats, with 3 heats in prelims, swum fastest t slwest. The fastest heat f each event will be swum in finals. Events #35 & #36, 13 & O 400 IM Individual Medley will be swum in prelims with the 4 fastest wmen s heats first, fllwed by the fur fastest men s heats. These heats will be swum slwest t fastest. The remaining heats in prelims will be swum fastest t slwest, alternating wmen and men. TIME TRIAL: At the cnclusin f Mnday evening s finals sessin, time permitting, time trials will be ffered t any 13 & lder swimmers entered in an individual event in the meet. PENALTIES: Time trials will begin n earlier than 10 minutes after the cnclusin f Mnday s finals. The rder f events will be Mnday s, Sunday s and Saturday s events. Cst: $15 per event. A swimmer desiring a time trial must infrm the Meet Referee r designee, n later than 10:30 AM Mnday. Swimmer must prvide timer and cunter. Time trials are included as events in the 3 events per day limit. Penalties fr entries using fraudulent and/r nn-verifiable entry times: Swimmer shall be marked as exhibitin fr the event entered illegally and the event shall be re-scred and awarded. Club may be fined $100 fr each ffense, and a recrd f such ffenses hall be kept and published as part f the fficial meet results. Clubs entering swimmers nt legally registered with USA Swimming by the first day f the meet may be fined $100 per swimmer in each event s entered. If the swimmer is representing a club in cmpetitin, the fine will be levied n the Club. If the swimmer is unattached, the fine will be levied n the swimmer. RULES: The current USA Swimming Rules and Regulatins will apply. Any swimmer entered in the meet must be certified by a USAS member cach as being prficient in perfrming a racing start r must start each race frm within the water. When unaccmpanied by a member cach, swimmers r their legal guardian must ensure cmpliance with this requirement. The verhead and/r chase starts will be used fr the all sessins at the discretin f the Meet Referee. The scratch prcedures listed in the current USA Swimming Rules and Regulatins, Article , sectins D and E nly will be in effect fr all final heats. Use f audi r visual recrding devices, including cell phnes, is nt permitted in changing areas, rest rms r lcker rms. In additin, phtgraphy behind the blcks is nt permitted. In accrdance with VSI Plicy, nly thse caches wh have current, valid USA Swimming credentials will be permitted t act in a caching capacity at this meet. Caches with valid USA Swimming credentials but are unable t prvide them upn request will be issued temprary credentials by the meet directr Caches with expired r nn-current credentials will be required t leave the deck area. 3

Swimmers must prvide their wn timers and cunters fr the event #7, #8 (800 m free) and #59, #60 (1500 m free). The number f timers required per club and their lane assignments will be psted n the Pseidn website, Tuesday, June 12, 2018, and will als be ed t the cntact persn f each f the individual clubs. GENERAL: Meet prgrams: Free psych sheets will be available t print via Pseidn s website and via meet mbile, and in print frmat upn request. Deck-seeded event will be available as sn as the sessin is seeded. FACILITY RULES: DIRECTIONS: Cncessins will be available during the meet at the Jeff Ruse Swim and Sprt cafeteria. Cncessins will pen fr warm-ups and during cmpetitin each day. N utside fd r drinks are allwed in the facility. Caches and fficials hspitality will be prvided. A light breakfast n Saturday, Sunday, and Mnday, lunch and dinner each day will als be prvided. Hspitality will be hsted in the rm just ff the pl deck. Swim and Tri will be the meet vendr fr swim gear. Team caches and swimmers are encuraged t dress in their best luau attire fr the meet. N glass cntainers f any kind are permitted in the facility. Lawn/deck chairs are nt permitted in the grandstand. N spectatrs/parents will be allwed n deck unless wrking the meet. N smking is allwed n the campus.
