Clsed Marking. Results displayed r annunced will remain prvisinal until the results are certified by the segment Referee and Technical Cntrller n the fficial result frm. Judges (Interstate events nly) Each State assciatin is invited t nminate a Judge r Judges, Technical Cntrller and/r Technical Specialist and Data Operatr/Vide Replay Operatr fr any scheduled events. These nminatins shuld be advised t LOC befre the clsing date. 1

2 Membership Requirements At clse f entries, all Australian cmpetitrs must be a full financial member f their relevant State Assciatin and an affiliated club. (Inclusive f ISA Insurance Registratin either directly r via their state assciatin). The membership must be valid during the full cmpetitin perid. All Aussie Skate entrants must als be registered with ISA Aussie Skate TM and currently enrlled in Aussie Skate Overseas entrants must be financial members f an ISU member skating rganisatin and/r its affiliates, as required by their natinal rganizatin; the membership must be valid during the full cmpetitin perid. Insurance/Liability All members f State Assciatins are cvered under the ISA Natinal Insurance Plicy while participating in the event. This plicy includes Sprt Accident cver. ISA & OFSC assume n respnsibility fr ther persns in cnnectin with this event. ISA recmmends that any persn travelling t an interstate event cnsider persnal travel insurance. Eligibility t Cmpete Skaters Preliminary and abve must have passed the relevant ISA test level at the clse f entries. Cmpetitrs in Aussie Skate divisins must cmpete at the highest test level passed by the cmpetitin clsing date and cannt enter a level lwer than that which they have previusly cmpeted. Skaters wh have passed the ISA Preliminary Test at clse f entries are nt permitted t cmpete at Aussie Skate level. Practice Sessins Practices will be held n Mnday Mrning 12 th June 2017 times t be advised. 2

3 COMPETITION ENTRY DETAILS Entry Prcess and Eligibility t Cmpete Online entry submitted directly t LOC by cmpetitrs The LOC will prvide a list f cmpetitrs t the state assciatins within (2) tw days f clse f entries. State Assciatins will cnfirm t the LOC as sn as pssible thereafter, the skaters eligibility t cmpete as well as membership status f bth club and state. Paper entry submitted t LOC via entrant s State Assciatin The relevant state assciatin will ensure that all entrants are eligible t cmpete and that membership status is current, prir t submitting the entry registratins t the LOC. An excel spreadsheet must accmpany the state s entrant list, detailing the name, divisin and payment status f the entrant. PPC and Music submissin must be submitted with the entry r the entry remains incmplete. Cnditins fr Online Entry All Interstate cmpetitrs must ntify their relevant state assciatin f their entry submissin prir t entering. All state assciatins will be asked t cnfirm that entrants are full financial members in gd standing, f bth the state assciatin and an affiliated club. All music remains the prperty f the skater and will nt be shared r re-used. 6 OFFICIAL EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY / VIDEOGRAPHY PHOTOGRAPHY An fficial phtgrapher will be taking phts at the EVENT. Phts will be available fr viewing and purchase. Fr private phtgraphers, please nte that n flash phtgraphy is permitted in practice, warm-ups r events, as it may be dangerus t the skaters. All private phtgraphers are required t register at the Infrmatin/Registratins desk n the day f the event. VIDEOGRAPHY Vide Recrding: Individuals using vide cameras will be required t register at the Infrmatin / Registratin desk n the day f the event. Camera lights are prhibited. Videing can nly be undertaken in the designated area. VIDEOING OF PRACTICE SESSIONS AND OFFICIAL WARMUPS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. OTHER INFORMATION Age splits will be used when there are sufficient entries in a divisin. ADULT - SOLO - TECHNICAL SKATING Pewter (renamed frm Prficiency) Eligibility: A skater must NOT have passed the ISA Preliminary Test. A well-balanced Pewter prgram must shw the skater s ability t use edges, turns and ther skating mvements t interpret music. N specific jumps are required. There are 2 required elements. a. A maximum f ne (1) spin element. Only tw ft spins are permitted b. A maximum f ne (1) chregraphed step sequence, (straight line, circular r serpentine) r chregraphed spiral sequence. This shuld cver at least a third f the ice surface. Chregraphed spirals must cntain at least ne spiral psitin held fr 3 secnds c. Jumps are ptinal. These are restricted t ½ revlutin jumps. Fr example. Waltz jump, half flip, half lp. Duratin: The maximum time is 1 min 40 secs, but may be less. ADULT - SOLO - ARTISTIC SKATING Pewter (renamed frm Prficiency) Eligibility: A skater must NOT have passed the ISA Preliminary Test. Required elements: There are n required elements Axel and duble jumps are nt permitted. Cmbinatin jumps are nt permitted Credit fr jumps and spins are based slely n the ability f such mvements t enhance the chsen theme and supprt the music. Credit will nt be given fr their technical difficulty. Duratin: The maximum time is 1 min 40 secs, but may be less. Team GROUP (All Levels including adults) - ARTISTIC SKATING Team Artistic is a divisin that enables a grup f peple (minimum 2 skaters) t perfrm a creative number tgether. Required elements: There are n required elements Axel and duble jumps are nt permitted. Cmbinatin jumps are nt permitted. Du r Tri Du r Tri is a divisin that enables either a male r female, r tw males, r tw females/a male and tw females, r a female and tw males, r three males, r three females t perfrm a creative number tgether. Du r Tri artistic skate is a cmpetitive prgram, which must include elements f the sprt f figure skating. Required elements: a. ne (1) but a maximum f tw (2) single jumps b. ne (1) but a maximum f tw (2) single spins Axel and duble jumps are nt permitted. Cmbinatin jumps are nt permitted.
