N gate passes fr finals will be prvided t umpires r players in All umpires will be required t pay the admissin cst t gain entry. AFL Barwn will reimburse umpires the cst f entry t their age eligibility in their match payment, nce thse umpires are cnfirmed as having umpired their match. This will be paid at the scheduled pay perid fr the mnth that the match ccurred, it will be shwn as an adjustment n yur pay slip.(excludes car) Arrival time and requirements All umpires are required t be at the venue minimum ne (1) hur prir t scheduled start time and reprt t the GFUL Grund Manager r Umpire Cach, Field and Bundary Umpires shuld be changed and warming up n less than 30mins prir t scheduled start r ¾ time break f previus match. Cmpressin gear (Skins)& ftwear Neutralclured cmpressin gear can be wrn, but shuld nt be visible belw yur n field umpires unifrm, black r ther clured cmpressin gear will be plitely asked t be remved. Predminately White ftwear is expected fr Field and Bundary Umpires. Rm visits Field Umpires please liaise with the AFL Barwn Grund Manager a suitable time t visit clubs prir t the start f a game, be apprachable and appreciative twards the caches and players, cngratulate them and wish them well. We will likely t have a club rster ready fr match days with requested times frm each club. Yur match day umpire cach will meet with the umpire teamsn less than 25min befre scheduled start time. Mbile phnes and ther devices shuld nt be used r checked during the curse f yur appinted game, including breaks, yur fcus and attentin must be n the game yu are umpiring. Umpires Rms and match breaks Only thse umpires appinted t the current game are permitted in the rms r at the quarter breaks, umpires in the fllwing games are t give the umpires space t d their jb, n cngregating fr BTI practice at r near the centre circle r using the match ball fr practice, umpires in the fllwing match will have full access t umpire rms after half time f the current match (drpping bags ff is permitted at any time) Well wishes can be dne utside f the rms, please make family and friends aware f this directive.

4 3 AFL Barwn & GDFL Senir, Reserves and Clts Finals GDFL matches there will be n drawn games in any Eliminatin, Qualifying, Semi r preliminary finals: In the case f equal scres at the end f scheduled time, the teams will play tw (2) five (5) minute perids with time n. The match will recmmence with the teams kicking t the same end as they were in the last scheduled quarter. Caches are permitted t address players at the end f the game prir t the cmmencement f extra time. Players must be in psitin t recmmence the game prir t the gal umpires returning t their psitin. A five minute quarter will be played (including time-n) befre immediately changing ends fr anther five minute quarter (including time-n). There is t be n break between these quarters. In the event f scres still being tied at the cnclusin f these perids f extra time, play will recmmence at a centre ball up(withut change f ends) and the team t scre first will be the winner. In the event f a drawn Grand Final, after nrmal playing time, the match will be replayed the fllwing week. In the event f a draw in the Grand Final Replay extra time will be played as per sectin (d) f this Rule

6 5 AFL Barwn & GDFL Senir, Reserves and Clts Finals Officials The maximum allwable number f fficials is: Runners shall be tw (2) fr senirs and reserve grade teams and ne (1) fr Clts Trainers shall be n mre than five (5) Medical staff means a qualified medical practitiner, physitherapist r similar qualified persn Water carriers n mre than three (3). Officials psitins that are allwable n the team sheet and inside the fence are: Caching staff (nt t exceed 3 (three)) Team Manager Runner Number 1 Runner Number 2 Trainer Number 1 Trainer Number 2 Trainer Number 3 Trainer Number 4 Trainer Number 5 (accredited trainers nly) Water Carrier Number 6 Water Carrier Number 7 Water Carrier Number 8 Dctr (qualified) Physitherapist (qualified) All authrised persns, apart frm Runners, Trainers and Water Carriers, are t remain in the Caches Bx at all times during play, r within the cnfines f the perimeter lines surrunding the Cach s Bx. Other match day staff must be statined utside the perimeter fence r fence line.

7 6 AFL Barwn & GDFL Senir, Reserves and Clts Finals Duties f Runners Team runner (s) shall nt have affixed t his r her persna cmmunicatin device which includes but is nt limited t headsets, micrphnes r earpieces r water bttles. Runners shall enter and exit the playing arena via the interchange area where tw (2) club runners are used. Only ne runner frm each club is permitted n the playing surface at any given time. Failure t adhere t these restrictins, prhibits the ffending runner frm entering the playing surface fr the remainder f the game. Shuld a club use ne (1) runner nly, the runner may enter and exit the playing area frm any pint f the grund. The sle duty f the runner shall be t cnfer with the player r players f his/her club and t immediately leave the playing arena. Runners unifrms All runners are t wear unifrms as apprved by AFL Barwnand GDFL at the cmmencement f each seasn. Runner tps must carry the club name and the wrd Runner. Where a Club uses tw Runners in the Senir r Reserves sectin the unifrms must be numbered t distinguish the runners. Trainers and Medical Staff Club trainers may enter the arena at any time during the match r intervals, but nly t attend t an injured player r t replace a damaged unifrm and fr n ther purpse whatsever.trainers may als carry water as part f their duties. Club trainers will wear unifrm dress cnsisting f a white tp and white, navy blue r black pants r shrts. The tp must bear the Club name, the wrd trainer and a number (trainers t be numbered 1 5). Medical staff are t wear a clear and identifying armband. Medical staff means a qualified medical practitiner, physitherapist r similar qualified persn.

8 7 AFL Barwn & GDFL Senir, Reserves and Clts Finals Water-Carriers Eligibility t act as water carrier A maximum f three (3) water-carriers is permitted in any game Water carriers must be aged ver furteen years. N cach r assistant cach f an AFL VICTORIA COUNTRY pen age team shall act as a water carrier in any match. Water carrier unifrms Water-carriers are t wear a white shirt bearing the Club name and the wrd water carrier and be crrectly numbered with black r blue shrts r tracksuit pants. Water-carriers must be numbered 6, 7 and 8 respectively and names and number must appear n the fficial team sheet. Water carrier duties Water-carriers may enter the arena at any time during the match r intervals but nly t prvide water t players and fr n ther purpse whatsever and t immediately leave the playing arena nce the drink has been delivered (Refer AFL VICTORIA COUNTRY Rule 18.2.) Water carriers are nt permitted t perate cnstantly frm the Caches bx area but must be arund the bundary area against the fence while nt delivering water

9 8 AFL Barwn & GDFL Senir, Reserves and Clts Finals AFL Barwn and GDFL Grund Manager The AFL Barwn and GDFL Grund Manager will be slely respnsible fr: All Match day paperwrk Match Ftballs Liaisn between Club Team Managers and Umpires in regards t all clear AFL Barwn Clts Divisin 4 Evening up rule des nt apply, but in Divisin 4 Clts it is 16 a side unless bth sides have at least 18 players. In this case it reverts t 18 a side unless bth teams agree t remain at 16 a side and have a bench. Cnfirm this with the AFL Barwn Grund Manager prir t the start f the game s as t be clear n permitted numbers in case f a player head cunt called.
