3 Management Team Profiles Dion van der Linden (Partner) BSc(QS) (UP) PrQS PMAQS Dion graduated in 1986 as Quantity Surveyor and has been registered as a professional Quantity Surveyor since Dion has experience in public sector, commercial and retail property development. His first eight years after graduation he was employed as a Quantity Surveyor at Department of Public Works. Dion joined LMA Quantity Surveyors in February 1994, promoted to associate partner in 1999 and full partner in 2001 until end Pieter Hendrik Rodgers (Partner) BSc (QS) (UPE) PrQS PMAQS Pieter graduated in 1988 as Quantity Surveyor and has been registered as a professional Quantity Surveyor since Pieter has experience in public sector, commercial and retail property development. After graduation he spent his first five years at the Department of Public Works after which he moved into the private sector and spent 8 years at Norval Wentzel Steinberg Quantity Surveyors, ultimately holding the position of Executive Associate. He spent 4 months at Managed Technologies Facility Managers and then moved on to LMA Quantity Surveyors where he was a partner for one year until end Johan Dawid Petrus Gouws (Partner) BSc (QS) (UPE) PrQS PMAQS Dawie graduated in 1989 as Quantity Surveyor and has been registered as a professional Quantity Surveyor since He has post graduate experience in both public- and private sector development projects spread over the building-, civil engineering and mining industries. He spent the first four years of his career with Hickman, Bjorkman and Bower Quantity Surveyors where after he joined the civil engineering department of Anglo American s Central Technical office for six months. For the next 13 years he went to the construction side where he joined Benhaus Industrial Construction Company (Pretoria North Office) and later C.H. Fouche Building and Civil Contractors (North West/Botswana) before starting his own building company. He joined QS Quantity Surveyors in September 2007 and was promoted to Partner from 1 September JP Theron (Associate) BSc (QS) (UP) PrQS PMAQS JP graduated in 2001 and has been registered as a professional Quantity Surveyor since He was employed at MD van Schalkwyk & Blake as a student from 1998 to 2000 and in 2001 joined LMA Quantity Surveyors.
