Lots of new faces this month, welcome to Ashleigh Glascott on Louie K, Peta Hall on Beau and Ollie Arnold on Jacko. We hope they, and their families all enjoyed their day at NPPC. It is always a please to have Ken Keating come along to our rallies and help all our riders with their show jumping. Will and Georgia were proud to have their Grandfather and their cousin Paige come and visit us. Next time maybe Paige could bring along Jimmy and ride? Sue has our games teams rockin. All the team have really come together and we wish them all the best at the Midland Zone Games on the 22 nd April at Huntly Spring gully PC. Come along and support them if you are free. Sinead and Janayah had Des all to themselves today, working hard on steering. Congratulations to Janayah on the great improvement in her riding. She is cantering Cida of the lead now. Both girls are part of the games team. Emma Leusey recommended that we invite Sheree Hermans to our rally to instruct. I m so glad Sheree accepted our invitation to come and instruct flat at our April rally. Every rider, even the boy s came back to me with nothing but great reports of their lessons. We hope sheree will be able to come back soon and on a regular basis if her commitments allow it. Sheree commented that you were a great bunch of riders and were polite and listened. I said of course they are, they are Neangar Park Pony Club riders! We only have the best Keep up the good work Kim

4 Midland Zone Games From Sue I wish to say a big thank and congratulations to all the members and parents of the two teams that competed in the state game qualifiers on Sunday 22nd April at Bealiba. Well done everyone. I am so proud of you all. OK we didn't make state but: THE CHALLENGERS placed 4 th Emma Lesuey...Icy Trista Hoyland...Ed Billie Rodda...George Jack Lake...Lewis Will Cole...JJ Nikita House... Muscat And with a 7th placing THE CHARGERS Mikayla O'Neill...Junior Georgia Cole...Doolan Steph Horton...Jonty Janayah Estrada...Cicada Sinead Purcell...Ginger Hannah Mika.. Coby Two scoring teams, how great is that. Many thanks to all team members and parents who came to practises and really pulled together on the day. You should all be very proud of yourselves and your horses, you all performed beautifully (And from all of us at Neangar a HUGE thanks to Sue for all her time and effort with the teams)

5 My first ever combined training day. I m so nervous. OMG I m up next for dressage All right, I enter the arena, and do my test OMG that was so good and he didn t even shy at that old scary house!!bonus!! I go see everyone. They think I did awesome. Now it s time to walk the show jumping course. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 all right I know my course. I ll go put jonty away. I ll go get Jonty. Where up next bud. Here we go. Ok I ve entered the gates. The bell rings here we go.1, 2, 3, 4, huh what s that the grade 5 dressage results are up came over the speaker. YES I thought to my self going over jump number 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9. I leave the arena clear round yes (my first ever show jumping round on Jonty) now lets go see the results!! Oh hi Georgia, how did you go? I haven t looked but I herd you won the dressage Georgia said wow I ll have to go look for my self Believe it or not I won dressage and with a clear round of show jumping I think I should win but don t now!!! Later that day the presentation is in 5 minutes for grade 5. oh no it s going to be a nail bitter for everyone. In second place is Ashleigh Robinson and the overall winner is STEPHANIE HORTON ON MURRAYDALE PARK NOODLES!!!!! And now for the best dressage. First place is STEPHANIE HORTON on MURRAYDALE PARK NOODLES!!!!! For My first ever combined training day I did very well. For the whole day I came home with a brand new Horseland rug and a new hay bag!! 6 Gedabout Gossip The first newsletter is always the hardest. I look forward to your ideas and input into the newsletter. Just producing a newsletter is an achievement let alone one of the quality produced by our previous author. So PLEASE forward any news/gossip or scandal via . If you have anything you would like to share please it to the club at nppclub@hotmail.com. We have also moved into a new century with allowing everyone to upload photos at any time. The user ID is nppc and the password was ed out. If you have forgotten or lost it please let us know. If your ponyclubber has been involved in anything horse or non-horse related please let us know so we can let everyone know through gedabout gossip! Cross Country They re here! Well, it s here, the first jump of the new NPPC cross country course. The two Steves and sons slaved away for what seemed like hours to construct the first jump. With the aid of our high tech shovels, cordless drill and a scary chainsaw the first jump rose from the ground. And as the rain descended much back slapping was conducted as we pondered the rest of the course

Please bring along $15 to purchase your workbooks on Sunday if you haven t already paid and the club will place an order and cover postage, this way we will all have our books by the MAY Rally to start. Fees are payable THIS Rally to ensure PCAV cards are issued in time and to enable riders to ride from 01/07/12. If families need assistance through a payment plan please speak to our new Treasurer: Tracey Cole. Attendance Cards & Grading: A reminder for anyone wanting to compete that they need to update their attendance card and/or their grading or they may be ineligible. If your card is held at the club and you want to compete in a pony club event you will need to ask for it. Cards to be lodged at gear check to be updated at each rally.
