1 St. Peter/St. Francis School 360 Prospect Street, Torrington, CT Dear Parents, November 3, 2016 It was nice to see so many parents attend All Saints Day Mass and the children s presentations afterward. The children did an outstanding job! Congratulations to Aiden Purcaro (Intermediate)! He was chosen to represent St. Peter/St. Francis School in the Future Musician Regional Band Concert on October 22 nd. Aiden also received an award for being selected first trumpet first seat. Congratulations to Lower Primary! They were the October Boxtops winners having sent in 822 boxtops that averages out to 43 per student! Thank you! The class will be rewarded with a dress down day (exact date to be determined). The profit on the Pie/Butterbraid/Cookie Dough sale was $5,576! Again, many thanks to Stacey Sefcik for chairing this very successful fundraiser. Remember, delivery is tomorrow. There is a Sports Meeting tonight at 7:00PM in the cafeteria. The parents of any boys who are interested in playing basketball or girls who would like to be cheerleaders should attend. On Friday, the children will attend the 9:45AM Mass at St. Peter Church for First Friday. All students should be in full dress uniform. Dismissal is at noon. This Saturday is the Camp In. It sounds like an exciting event! Special thanks is extended to Kim Duncan and Tamara Michalec for co-chairing the fundraiser. Remember to set your clocks back one hour this weekend. Tuesday, 11/8 - Election Day has arrived! Tonight is the Texas Roadhouse fundraiser from 4:00-8:00PM in Waterbury. Remember to bring the flyer. Wednesday, 11/9, is our Veterans Day Assembly at 12:30PM in the gym. During this month of thanksgiving, please consider donating to Student Council s Food Drive. Information is included. Have a wonderful weekend. Cherish the pleasure of time spent together. ~Anonymous Peace and Blessings, Mrs. Gauger Character ~ Compassion ~ Values
