Happy Flag Dat June 14th The flag of the United States of America, often referred to as the American flag, is the national flag of the United States. It consists of thirteen equal horizontal stripes of red (top and bottom) alternating with white, with a blue rectangle in the canton (referred to specifically as the "union") bearing fifty small, white, five-pointed stars arranged in nine offset horizontal rows, where rows of six stars (top and bottom) alternate with rows of five stars. The 50 stars on the flag represent the 50 states of the United States of America, and the 13 stripes represent the thirteen British colonies that declared independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain, and became the first states in the U.S.[1] Nicknames for the flag include The Stars and Stripes, Old Glory, and The Star-Spangled Banner.

From the Chapter Directors June 2017 Some of us went on a ride Saturday to say hi to some old friends. We put flags on some locations and roses on others and flags and roses on others. We talked about fun times we had shared and rides we had taken along with other memories that came to mind once you start remembering. These are forever members of Chapter B and will forever be in my heart. Remember we have a Motorist Awareness Day at the Welcome Center on I65. We have the morning shift from 8-12 so we will meet at the McDonald s on Jeff Rd and Highway 53. We will depart at 7:30. There are some fun rides planned for June to include a picnic that is at a location close to my Mom and Dad s farm that I didn t know existed. It is located on the Tennessee River with a vantage point where you can watch the boats going up and down the river. Please come out and join us for any of the events you can make and don t forget this is your Chapter so please let us know some of the things you would like to see on the schedule. Please remember that Freedom Isn t Free and remember our folks who are in Harm s Way, be they Military, Law Enforcement, EMTs or Firemen. The next time you think about riding, call a friend, they are probably thinking the same thing. Please ride Safe and Often, Roy and Anita

Ride Educator This past month at the meeting, I passed out Rider Education training reports from our database to those who were on record as having training. If you did not receive a report, please contact me so we can see if you are due one. If your report does not list training that you know you have performed, please provide copies of the course completion cards to me and I will see that your information is updated. I cannot update your record without proof of completion of course. Also included in the report is the Riding Level you are in. Again, if this data is not correct, please get with me and provide copies of any paperwork you may have as proof. If in the past two years, you have submitted paperwork but your Level has not been updated, we will have to resubmit the request. Before doing so, please ensure that you are current in any required classes. Below are the four general Levels in GWRRA: Level I: Safety by Commitment - The first big step to success Level I of the Rider Education Program is also referred to as Safe Miles. It represents the commitment of the Rider and/or the Co-Rider to practice safe motorcycle operation whenever they operate their motorcycle. Safety is a state of mind which can only be attained through total commitment. Every successful accomplishment begins with a commitment to reach the intended objective. This is true of the Rider Education Program and includes a promise to learn for the sake of Rider, Co-Rider, friends and family, and others on the road. Though there is no mileage requirement to enter Level I, the commitment to safe riding is tracked by the number of accident free miles since joining GWRRA. Accident free miles are accumulated in 5,000 mile increments and may be updated at yearly intervals. Requirement: Verbal commitment to ride safely at all times. No cost to sign up. Patches available at $6.00 per participant (COST REIMBURSED BY CHAPTER WITH A RECEIPT PROVIDED TO SUE). Receive: "Safe Miles" patch, Rider (or Co-rider) Rocker, and mileage pin. Level II: Safety by Education Level II of the REP is also referred to as Tour Rider. It represents the commitment of the Rider and/or Co-Rider to be safer motorcycle riders by taking approved motorcycle riding courses at regular intervals. GWRRA has chosen several educational training programs for the Riders and Co-Riders such as the MSF (Motorcycle Safety Foundation) programs, the United Sidecar Association course, the CSC (Canadian Safety Council) programs, and the GWRRA's Advanced Riding courses. Completing these courses provides the foundation and skills for your quest to be a safe motorcycle rider. All recognized programs are taught by qualified and Nationally certified instructors. For the Co-Rider, we have provided an excellent seminar and "Two Up" programs to assist in their role in the safety aspect of motorcycle rid-

ing. Motorcycle education goes "hand in hand" with commitment. The "on bike" education by MSF, USCA, CSC and GWRRA for the Rider and Co -Rider and the "off bike" education designed specifically for the Co- Rider, provide a very effective approach to motorcycle safety. This is when a REP participant truly begins to understand what the Level I commitment means and sees the value in the program. Requirement: Rider - a Certified Rider Course with 5,000 safe miles. Co-Rider - certified Co-rider Seminar or 2-up Rider Course. No cost to sign up. Patches available at $5.00 per participant (COST REIMBURSED BY CHAPTER WITH A RECEIPT PROVID- ED TO SUE). Receive: "Red Triangle" patch for either Rider or Corider signifying Level II participant. Level III: Safety by Preparedness Level III of the REP is also referred to as Certified Tour Rider/Co- Rider. It represents the commitment of the Rider and/or Co-Rider to be prepared in the event of an accident to give aid and possibly save lives. This is done by being knowledgeable in First Aid or CPR and carrying a first aid kit on their motorcycle at all times. It would be wonderful if we could achieve the coveted goal of zero accidents, however, we know realistically, accidents will happen. Because of this, it is important to be fully prepared to lend aid to unfortunate accident victims. It is important to always be prepared to save a life. Level III of the Rider Education Program was developed to deal with such circumstances by recognizing and encouraging proper First Aid or CPR training. CPR (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation), has been used to save many lives. Being trained to render CPR or First Aid is a tremendous asset to those the REP participant will come in contact with daily. Attendance of a Motorist Awareness Seminar at this level exposes the Member to our program to improve awareness of all road users to the presence of motorcycle, trike, and sidecar enthusiasts. When interfacing with the public in the future, the Level III Rider or Co- Rider can inform them about what we have available to help others share the road with us. GWRRA University Trainers certified in Rider Education are authorized to present Motorist Awareness Seminars. Requirement: Current in Level ll and have taken either First Aid or CPR training. No cost to sign up. Patches available at $4.00 per participant (COST REIMBURSED BY CHAPTER WITH A RECEIPT PROVIDED TO SUE). Receive: "Certified Tour Rider" or "Certified Co-Rider" patch. Level IV: Safety By Enhanced Commitment and Preparedness Level IV is the most prestigious of the REP levels and is referred to as Master Tour Rider/Co-Rider. It represents the highest commitment of the Rider and/or Co-Rider to safe riding and preparedness. This

commitment is shown by a demonstrated history of safe miles and current certification in both First Aid and CPR. These Master Tour Riders/Co -Riders are the finest example to everyone of the highest commitment to safe motorcycle operation and preparedness. Level IV of the REP, the Master Tour Rider, was designed for those special caring individuals who desire to "be all they can be" with regards to motorcycle safety. The requirements are more stringent than Level III and require a greater commitment. These individuals are caring, trained and prepared with the experience to back them up. It is realized Level IV is not for everyone, but for those who desire to be of greater service to their fellow man, it is the correct prescription. Why desire to be a Level IV Master Tour Rider? It's a worthy goal. Being prepared to save a life is a high calling indeed! These individuals are shining examples to the rest of the GWRRA membership. Others aspire to practice the same commitment as displayed by those who have attained Level IV. For that reason, because these individuals are ambassadors to the members at all levels, GWRRA provides a special gathering to celebrate the Master Tour Rider commitment each year at the District Rally, Region D Rally and Wing Ding. Requirement: Current in Level lll for one year and have taken both First Aid and CPR training. Have 25,000 Safe Miles and must be committed to riding with "Proper Riding Gear" at all times. Cost: $35.00 for each participant (COST REIMBURSED BY CHAPTER WITH A RECEIPT PROVIDED TO SUE). (Black and Gold patch is available for another $8.00) Receive: "Special Triangular" patch with dark blue border and your individual Master number embroidered on it. Joye Williamson Ride Smart! Ride Safe!

Newsletter Editors Notes Hello everyone Well we had some very good riding weather in May. Pat and I have been riding around the Guntersville Lake area looking for property for her daughter s family. They live in Florida but want a place here so they can spend some time fishing and hunting in the area. On the ride to Marcy Jo s we left there and stopped in Columbia and visited with my daughter and one of my granddaughters. Then on our ride home we had to stop at Mildred s in Ardmore for good eats. The night that we ate at meteor we meet Steven and Tammy and had about a 70 mile night ride. I commented that I would like to be able to track a ride like that so I could do it again. Steven then showed me the tracking function on the wings GPS system and surprisingly it was turned on. I had in fact traced the route we had taken and I was able then to convert the tracking into a route I can take on my own. That is a nice feature that we will use frequently I am sure. On Saturday May 27th we rode with other Chapter B members to pay tribute to those members that have passed on and are now riding their wings of Gold in Heaven, That was an honor for us to get to do that, Most of the members we had known and some we would have liked to have known based on the tales Roy told about them. Thanks Roy & Anita for leading us on that ride. Thanks, Aaron & Pat

June 2017 Newsletter from Alabama B Membership Enhancement Team As I thought about what to write for my newsletter, there were many things that ran through my head. I have come a long way from where I would have been, had I stayed by myself or found a different life partner. My life revolved around my campground friends and looking forward to the weekend to see them. Not really anything exciting but we had fun, in an old folks sort of way. I had never ridden a motorcycle or even been on one. The closest thing was a Cushman scooter, my cousin rode me on, as a teen. Nearly slid off the back end of it and he thought when I was yelling for him to stop, that I was just fooling. But I actually did slide off and almost pulled him off before he stopped. His reply was, Why didn t you tell me? Hmmmph. No more of that for me. In the years, much later, Walter was my neighbor and had a beautiful motorcycle that he looked so cool on. I found myself alone after being married all my life, since I was sixteen. Not a very comfortable feeling. I knew him for several years so I felt comfortable with him and trusted him when he asked me to ride. That day changed my life. I cannot imagine what I would be doing. But here is my point. Walt made riding the Goldwing look like so much fun. He told me about all the places he had been, rode the Goldwing to rallies and all the friends he had met. I just could not figure how he had so many friends all over the country. He took me to my first GWRRA chapter meeting and much to my surprise, almost everyone already knew me. They made me feel so welcome, like I had known them all my life. I was overwhelmed with good feelings, which was just what I needed. I could not wait till the next ride on the motorcycle. I did not know how to dress, but soon found out. Our organization is one for Friends, for Fun, Safety and Knowledge. I have to truly say, I have more friends now than I ever dreamed of having, and a husband to boot. There are so many Goldwings in our part of the country, mainly because we have nicer and longer riding weather. When we ride our motorcycles in a group ride, there are so many different styles and colors but all Goldwings. You know there are people out there that would love to be a part of what we do and have as many friends as we do. I love riding on the Goldwing and when we go

to rallies, I love to see if they have something new I can add to it to make it more beautiful, if that is possible. This past weekend, in Mobile, I found a vendor that had just the purple lights that I wanted. So they are on our Goldwing now. Can t wait to ride it at night to see how they look. When you wear your chapter shirts, jackets or GWRRA logos, people know of us and ask questions about it. All it takes is a little question and Walt and I can talk for a while. We believe in our organization and want others to enjoy what we have. I had no idea what a wonderful life it was, till I met Walt. Since Walt is taking treatments at the Cancer center every two weeks, we wear our shirts and jackets there and always get questions and we get a chance to show pictures of our Goldwing Trike machine. I am very proud to be a member and I hope you are too. So next time you get a chance, see what happens and invite them to come see us and join our fun. Can t wait to go on another ride so we will see you all out there on the road, but above all be safe and visible. Till next time, we are: Walt and Faye Gersch Alabama B Chapter MEC Gold Wing Road Riders Assoc.

Chapter B - Photographer 2017 C.O.Y. Tony & Michelle Moon We went on a overnight ride to Helen Ga. in April. The weather was perfect and the ride was full of beautiful scenery and good times with all of our Chapter B friends. Here are just a few of the pictures I took on the trip. 16 June 2017 Chapter B Newsletter From 2013 and 2015 Couple of the Year May has almost gone and here we are coming upon June and summertime and riding the motorcycle. In the past two months we have had two nice long rides. At the end of April, we took a long ride to Helen, Georgia. We left on Friday, April 28, 2017 and had a glorious ride through the hills and back roads. We stayed in Cornelia only a few miles away from Helen. A restaurant nearby in walking distance was just perfect. We toured the Babyland Cabbage Patch Hospital and so many to choose from. Of course, I had to have a little country boy to go with my little blond preppie girl. A new baby was born while we were there. So interesting. On Saturday morning we went to Hofer s Bakery to have breakfast. There were so many people in line, it probably would have been lunch time, before we could eat. We opted to have a pastry instead and was it ever delicious. It is the most fabulous bakery anywhere around. Of course, more sugar than allowed. We rode the hills and back roads back and forth from Cornelia to Helen several times. Roy, Anita, Kathy and I went to the Old Sautee Store to have a sandwich for lunch and then browsed through the old country store. Dinner at the German Restaurant, Bosenee. What a meal. Very delicious. On Sunday, we left extra early, almost before the butt crack of dawn. There were storms predicted and we tried to get home before they hit. Sun was still shining when we got to Mentone Al. We felt we were almost home so we stopped for lunch at the quaint little café on the hill. There was about 15 of us and apparently they weren t prepared for that big a party. We were delayed there for two hours. So when we left we had to move along to try to get home before the storms. All of us were almost home, when the storm hit. Walt and I were just about three miles from home. No time to put on rain suits. Pulled in Jet Pep station to try to get out of heavy, heavy rain. No such luck. We got soaked to the bone. We went ahead after the lightning and thunder quit, to get home and it had already gone by our house and sun was out. We could have made it much earlier, but who knew. We thought we had it made. So you never know. Walt was scheduled for his chemo treatment on May 18 th but we told our fabulous doctor about our Alabama District rally in Mobile and he said no problem. So we got to go on our other long trip, which was also fabulous. Would you believe storms were al-

so predicted for the weekend, but the true riders that we are, we checked out the weather and the worst was due to come in to Mobile on Saturday evening and then again on Sunday afternoon. We had a ball on our bike on the way down. So nice. Arrived about two in the afternoon so we had plenty of time to unload, check in and clean up bit before dinner at the Ashbury Hotel. On Friday, we worked the MEC table to check on membership and talk with all our friends. It was not like work. After that, Walt and I visited the vendors and we got new purple led lights for the bike, my name painted on my aluminum big cup, got shirts with rally logo done and bought the new fad. Wishy Washers. Everyone at the rally had one or two. I got four. Gifts. Love them. On Saturday morning, Kathy and I worked at the ticket table along with others in our chapter. We always have fun and never work. The new 2017 Couple of the Year for District was selected, with three couples participating. Gary and Linda Burnworth from Chapter S, Penny and Terry Bullock from Chapter D and Bill and Vicki Cater from Chapter N. All were excellent, no flaws. Glad I didn t have to select the new couple. Of course, there had to be one and only one. The new 2017 District Couple is Bill and Vicki Cater. All of them were just great. Glad I didn t have to select one of these great couples. We had a good Saturday and everyone was at closing ceremonies starting at five and lasted about two hours. We had small plastic TV s to return and was given a ticket for each one. An armband number was drawn and my dear sweet husband, Walter Francis Gersch, had the winning ticket. The prize was a brand new TV from Best Buy. He is a lucky person. So proud for him. While we were getting awards and such, the storms outside started causing a ruckus. By the time we were done, it was pouring. Thankfully, some folks had cars and we headed out to dinner. We planned to go to Ed s Seafood. I have never been there and was so excited. We heard so much about it. Headed down the interstate in Roy s truck, packed in like sardines. So much fun. Anita called and said that we couldn t go there. Tunnel and causeway were flooded. So we started making calls. Turned around and went back close to the hotel to the Boiling Pot. I had heard about that place too, but never been. The seafood was out of this world. Fried oysters were to die for. I guess I got my fill of seafood but just for a short while. The rain continued on through the night and roads were flooded. Sunday morning we loaded up our trailer while a meeting was held. Walt had a slight problem so Roy rode our bike along with Kathy Lawyer behind Roy and Walt and I rode behind in Anita s car. We are so thankful to have such dear friends that help us out in an emergency. We all got back in the warm sunshine, safely. I do have to say that we had a wonderful, FUN trip with our roommate, Kathy. I think she had FUN too. That is what it is all about. Our first rally to get to see all our friends since last year. When we got home, Monday, we made a visit to Best Buy and purchased a new TV for Walt s room. The gift card was for three hundred dollars. Perfect for a 40 inch TV.

Walt is doing well and we do appreciate all your prayers. We would be nowhere without them. Love to you all and God Bless. Walt and Faye Gersch, 2013/2015 Chapter B Couple of the Year

From the District Directors Greetings fellow riders, as this is written we have just completed, what we consider, as a very successful Alabama District Rally in Mobile. Until Saturday evening we had great weather, plenty of places to see and things to do. I talked to several of you who had taken time out to ride the beautiful gulf coast area during your time with us and everyone told me they had a great time and great ride. We started off things on Thursday with, what turned out to be, a great dinner. We tried something different with the serving line and, according to feedback we received, most everyone enjoyed it. The food was good but the time spent enjoying each other s company was even better. The costume contest that followed brought out all sorts of new charters and some old familiar ones. Friday brought our couple of the year selection. We had three GREAT couples with Bill and Vicki Cater being selected the District Couple of the Year and Danny Baker selected as the Individual of the Year. Congratulations to all of them. We know they will represent the Alabama District extremely well. There were lots of things to do during the day on Friday ending on Friday evening with our ice cream social and, what turned out to be, a great talent show. If you missed it you missed a treat. We won t go into details here but ask anyone who attended about Corporal Klinger and Dale Evans! Saturday was another great day with some really interesting seminars, games, chapter challenges and shirt contest, mascot, scrapbook, diorama, and windshield cover contest. Congratulations to all that participated. Closing ceremonies were touching in places as the District Team said goodbye to Max and Kathy Tanner along with Robert and Gail Brown. They had decided to step down for now to be with family and loved ones. We thank them for their service to the District Team and for their time and devotion to the members of the Alabama District. Replacing Max and Kathy are long time members and former District Team members, Ron and Corky Alexander. They will assume the duties of South Alabama Assistant District Directors. The announcement was also made about next year s rally. We are back in Mobile but at the Marriott Hotel on Airport Blvd. This is a beautiful, full service hotel that we think everyone will enjoy. You can begin to make reservations after June 1. A great big THANK YOU to all who attended our rally this year and a really big THANK YOU to everyone who worked and helped put on this rally. Without all the worker bees we couldn t have a rally. THANK YOU.

June is going to be a very busy month with events scheduled every weekend. Please check the district calendar for all the info. Please come out and support all the chapter functions coming up this month. Please pray for all of our men and women in uniform (military and civilian) who work to keep us safe each and every day. When you see them out and about take a moment to say thank you, they will appreciate it. We hope to see all of you out on the road, Frank and Linda

North Alabama ADD JUNE ADDN The last three (3) months I have covered what I believe a road map for the foundation of our chapters. In May s article, we discussed participation in events. This month I will attempt to explain how and why events are scheduled (opinioned.) All Chapter Directors and Ride Coordinators should strive to incorporate all Chapter and District events into their calendar of events and promote participation. For the benefit of all, first let s explain what goes into a calendar of events. As expressed above, all District Chapter events along with any District/Region event would have priority and be scheduled first. You now can schedule what you, the Chapter Director, Chapter Ride Coordinator, Participant may want to participate in, e.g., a lunch ride to Fred s, a day ride to Little River Canyon, etc. These should be scheduled on alternate days, maybe two on a Saturday, one on a Sunday and maybe one through the work week. This will accommodate those who work, and those who have Saturday priorities. What about supper events, you may want to schedule a night for CiCi s Pizza, another night for John s BBQ, etc. Again, you want to schedule on different nights of the week, normally after the rush hour of the evening. We do hesitate to schedule them on Wednesday s and Friday s as Wednesday s are church night for some and Friday s you have the payday night folks along with teens who ravage the weekend nights. (Not complaining, been there and had that T-shirt!) The goal is a broad range of events each month to open the opportunity for all to have at a minimum one or more events to participate in. With this said, now comes the part which can be aggravating and misunderstanding to some. What happens when a Chapter event or District event arises that was not known about at the time the Chapter calendar was published? Of course, we should make a revision to our calendar. This raises the question by some, why? Not only by our participants, but with some of our Chapter officers having the same question. Most events that are non-chapter/district related are events that will occur again sometime during the year, our Chapter/District events only occur one time during the year. I or the District cannot insist Chapters participate with another Chapter s event. It can only be encouraged; however, it is part of the Oath of Office we take as officers; To promote and support my Peers in a team atmosphere, working together for the benefit of the whole. My hope as an officer in GWRRA is that all Chapter officers and participants/members will or would participate in Chapter/District events. There wouldn t be a GWRRA without your participation and support. The organization would dissolve with Chapters becoming a fraternity group or club. Each doing their own thing. With that said, remember the difference, fraternities and clubs require participation, GWRRA is an organization and allows you to participate or not participate. Nothing is mandatory other than your annual dues, should you wish to be a part of the organization. This gives you the freedom to participate as you want and with what you want as an individual.

In closing, I hope this will encourage more participation with our sister Chapters and District events. This is what it is all about, participation brings FUN and FUN brings Friendship! Not only does it bring friendship, but it makes for one great ride to and from the event. So, enjoy the ride, enjoy the camaraderie, next month I will talk about dissemination of information Communication. Until then, I hope to see you at one of the many Chapter or District events. Keep the rubber to the road, the sunny side up and Always ENJOY the Ride!! Ron Ron Landers, NADD Phone: ashkii@gmail.com

Alabama District MEC Ride safe hope to see you all in mobile. Well we have another Rally behind us and from the responses I heard it was enjoyed by all. I am still recuperating and have still not unloaded the car. It is a good thing I was in the car too or I would still be somewhere between here and there. Veronica kept trying to get me to go to ER Sunday afternoon and night. We had some good seminar s and round table meetings. It seems the ones that really needed to be there failed to show up. We had some good information to discuss but only my better CME s were there. This year we tried something new that worked well so look for something new next year. Next year we will be in Mobile again but a different and much better location. And they are eager to have us there. It would really be nice to fill this new place up. I want to thank everyone who helped with the judging and those that set in for us at the MEC Table. Without everyone s help it would be impossible to put on one of these events. We are already late with our newsletters due to the rally so I will do more on the next one. Again thanks for all the help. Kenneth & Veronica Campbell PO Box 575 Heflin, AL aldistmec@aol.com slomotion365@gmail.com

Carl & Jan Breeding Rider Education / Motorist Awareness June 2017 Well, we have another rally behind us. We presented an Advanced Rider Course, a Trike Rider Course, a Medic First Aid course, Motorcycle Mechanics course, Co-Rider Seminar and Motorist Awareness Seminar at the rally. Thanks to all who made these possible and to the members who took their time to participate. Next year the Alabama Rally will again be in Mobile, but at a different, and much better facility. We will be at the Airport Marriott which has spacious areas for vendors, large ballrooms for meetings, nice classrooms, and is just an all-around better facility. The theme of the rally is Rocking on the Bay, I hope all of you will consider attending. Wing Ding in Grapevine, Texas will be another chance to take a wide variety of courses, both riding and non-riding. I hope many of you will take advantage of the wide variety being offered. Even if you do not attend training or purchase anything for your bike, it is still a great time to socialize with friends and celebrate a shared love of motorcycles. Come on to Grapevine with us, you ll have a ball. Motorist Awareness Day this year it will be on 3 June, instead of May like it is traditionally, because of scheduling difficulties. The things I would like to emphasize are: keep track of how many folks your chapters talk to, give me the totals (PLEASE do NOT keep lists of names), material should be available, but not pressed on people, our chapter donates ice water to hand out as a conversation starter, be courteous to all, DO NOT SOLICIT OR ACCEPT MONEY (this would get us banned from the Welcome Centers). Have fun talking to folks, if you have a couple of Gold Wings displayed, they make great conversation starters. Go for a chapter meal in conjunction with your shift, I believe we all enjoy food. Turn in chapter totals of folks talked to so I can include them in our report to National. Ride safely, ride often, call a friend. Carl Thanks and we love you all!

FINAL SAADD Article SAADD GREETINGS to all! J It is truly amazing how quickly time flies by and things change and our lives change! Kathy and I have truly enjoyed our time with the wonderful Alabama District Team for the last 5 years but as the old saying goes, all good things come to an end at some time and now is our time. We resigned our positions effective the end of the Alabama District Rally that just concluded in Mobile and we have had a blast! Frank & Linda Teasley and the team have done a tremendous job of making the Alabama District a wonderful, positive part of the GWRRA organization and we know there are many more wonderful things to come. Ron & Corky Alexander are stepping up again and taking over this position with the District Team and I know they will do a fantastic job too. I know you can depend on them to meet your needs and they will help you in any way possible. Thanks Ron & Corky for your support and GOOD LUCK! We are very excited that the District Rally will be in Mobile again next year and we are thrilled it will be at the Mobile Marriott too as this is a first class venue and you all will be EXTREMELY PLEASED with this new location! Congrats to Frank & Linda for making this happen. Be sure to thank them for this change but most of all, make your plans to come back down here and participate in the rally again next year. By the way, don t forget Wing Ding in Grapevine TX. 8/29 thru 9/2. This is the Big Dance for GWRRA and you sure don t want to miss that! Make your plans NOW as it will be here before you know it! Remember that GWRRA is a wonderful association and we want all good folks to be part of our great family. Share your calendars and your experiences and even thought we are not official district members now, feel free to call me or Kathy anytime if we can assist in some way with you. Use those beautiful Gold Wing motorcycles and others to enrich your life and strengthen your GW family ties and relationships and make more memories of a lifetime! You deserve it! We look forward to many more miles of riding pleasure with all of you and please, stay safe out there. That s the only way we can continue to make it fun. Thanks and we love you all!
