1 Doongala Pony club Combined Training and Dressage Day 30 th & 31 st May Sheffield Road, Montrose (Map reference 65 K5) Please drive via Pavitt Lane and not Glasgow Road Gate opens 6:30am Canteen available from 7.00am Thank you for entering our competition. We have many raffle prizes up for grabs thanks to the generous support from businesses. Make sure you bring your loose change. Please take the time to read through the details below. We have a large amount of entries and therefore we will be running to a strict timetable. We ask that all riders be ready for their assigned times for their dressage tests. Late times will be difficult to accommodate for. Grades 1,2 and 3: Will be on Saturday 30 th of May Grades 4,5 and 5A: Will be on Sunday 31 st of May Tests: All dressage tests are from the February 2013 test book and will be run under pure dressage rules. Numbers: Back number bibs will be supplied to all competitors and must be worn in both dressage and show jumping phases. Open riders will need to pay a $5-00 deposit for bib. Refunded upon return. PCAV riders will need to supply grading cards. Off the Track Awards: There will be an award for the best OTT combination in Dressage and one for the best OTT combination in Combined Training. In order to be eligible for this award you must register by ing the following information to kslade@eventsecretary.org.au Name of rider, Rider number, Class, Horses racing name. There will be no presenting to the judge in dressage All riders must wear medical armbands All riders must gear check before each phase (20 min before scheduled to ride)

2 PCAV approved helmets as per current gear rules & armbands are to be worn at all times when mounted. Correct standards numbered helmet must be worn as specified in PCAV Gear Rules. Spot checks may occur and incorrect helmet will mean elimination. The organizing committee reserves the right to cancel any class or competition; divide any class; alter times; refuse any entry with or without stating the reason. Neither Doongala Pony Club nor the organizing committee of this event accepts any responsibility whatsoever for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, ground spectators or any other person or property. No Dogs Allowed PCAV riders: Please make sure that you remember to bring your grading cards as well as making sure that it is up to date. This is important in order to avoid elimination. Open riders: All riders competing in open sections are required to provide proof of insurance cover before the start of the competition, otherwise a $10 day participation fee will be charged to cover insurance for the event. All Open Riders must also sign a Public Liability Declaration form. Please print out, complete and bring with you. New lunging area under construction: We ask that all competitors stay off our new lunging area that is currently under construction. Thank you for your cooperation in advance. Scratchings: There is currently a waiting list so if you are no longer able to compete please notify Karen Slade (kslade@eventsecretary.org.au) as soon as possible so that another rider on the list may have the opportunity to ride.
