Gear check is required before the first ridden phase or test if only doing one discipline. E.g. if only doing DR then check is required only before first ridden test, but if doing CT then check is required before each phase. Riders to be gear checked and ready to ride 20 minutes before their allocated time. Dressage tests for both competitions will be run under PCV Dressage rules, so dressage whips may be used in both tests and tests may be called. PLEASE CLEAR UP HAY AND MANURE. STRICTLY NO DOGS ALLOWED ON THE GROUNDS. LUNGEING ONLY PERMITTED IN DESIGNATED LUNGE RING. 3 CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: Entering this competition constitutes acknowledgement that PCV rules apply and acceptance of these rules. The organising committee reserves the right to cancel any class or event; to divide any class; to alter the advertised times and to refuse entry, with or without reason. The cross country jumps are out of bounds. Any rider jumping or schooling the cross country jumps will be eliminated & asked to leave the grounds immediately. Competitors must wear full Pony Club uniform and medical armband. Helmets need to comply with: AS/NZS 3838 (AU) PAS 015 (UK) ASTM F 1163 (USA) VG1 (Europe) EN 1384 (Helmets with EN 1384 made in 2016 onwards will NOT be accepted). All riders must present for gear check at least 20 minutes before each phase. Dressage tests for both competitions will be run under PCAV Dressage rules. Competitors must be prepared to be called earlier than scheduled. Show jumping round will be conducted in accordance with PCV grading conditions and penalties for horse trials show jumping rules. As per rule 38 in the 2018 PCV Hand- book of By-Laws: 38.2.a Dressage Individual: single test competition i) The higher total collective marks will decide the higher placings ii) If these marks are equal, the placings remain tied b Dressage Individual, multiple test competition i) Highest score in the highest numbered test. ii) Highest total collective marks in the highest numbered test. iii) If there is still a tie this process is repeated with the next highest numbered test until a winner is determined or until there are no further tests to compare, in which case the placing remains tied a Combined Training i) Lowest Showjumping penalties (total of error/disobedience and time penalty, if any). ii) Showjumping time closest (above or below) to the time allowed. iii) Lowest Penalty points in the dressage test. iv) The higher dressage test collective marks total.
