2 Proposed Calendar o Proposal to move opening day to Carlmont - Friday night o 9/8 - opening day if at BSC - 9/7 if at Carlmont o Summer camps Established budget committee. Anyone with input is invited to join. Financial report - Leo not here. Tabled until next month. Division Coordinators Need replacement for Dave Adams Proposed coordinators: U16/U19 - Alanna 14U - Scott B 12UB - Mary Beth 12UG - Erika? 10UB - Anh will continue 9UB - dependent if we decide to split division 10UG -? 8UB - Nina? 7UB - Nina? 8UG - Sabrina or Alanna? 6U - Sabrina? 5U - need someone Challenger/UK coaches - Jamie Need to decide on vendor to use this year. 3 kids from Challenger last year did a good job, however the Challenger organization was not good: Unresponsive Not available when needed Did not follow up with housing for kids In past we used UK Coach program: Billing discrepancies in past caused us to drop them as vendor After discussion with leaders, it seems they have improved Same cost, or more, than Challenger Other option is to find local people. Jaimie and Z will investigate. More discussion will happen at March board meeting. Fields report - Sergio Barrett - we need to give Belmont commitment to dates we need. Crystal Springs - Sat availability only - in Fall we will split with Sandpiper. Sandpiper is new field we have access to

3 Can not do clinic on same day as registration since fields at BSC are not available Future board meeting in Cottage - new hours 7-9pm BSC north field turf project - Jaime A while ago City Council approved a plan to turf the field with limited dirt only on pitchers mound. City Council meetings have had discussions about changing plans to include more dirt on field. Next Tuesday night 2/13 at 7pm, City Council will discuss again. Everyone is encouraged to attend and voice opinion to stick with original plan. Volunteer of the year committee: Tabled until next month AYSO outreach discussion Propose ideas of how to promote AYSO Donation to SchoolForce for annual auction: One week of soccer summer camp. Choose either Aug 6-10 or Aug (donating quantity of 2) Round Table Alanna - Everything going well for winter select. Glen - There were issues in Winter select with questions about eligibility of a player. Issue: Players need to be involved in at least half the practices and games to participate in winter select. One player did not meet this. Z - player was invited on special exemption due to past experience with AYSO. Jaime - reviewed coach selection process and policies. Decisions on who is allowed on team is up to the coach and should not be predetermined in coaches meeting. Sergio - More transparency in the future is needed. General thoughts were that in hindsight there should have been more communication. Everyone agreed they will do so in the future to avoid conflicts. Z- We need to work on rating system to help in evaluating players. Sergio - We may need to evaluate rating and selection process Meeting adjoined at 9:27pm
