1 Gentlemen of the BTC, May, 0 Our Tuesday started off from our President Larry Garetto with a moment of silence to honor Jerry Maciejewski. Jerry was truly a Club treasure and a man we all should aspire to be. A Past President of the Club, Roster Book Chairman, numerous volunteer moments inside and outside the Club, Jerry epitomized and reflected what this club is all about. He was a friend to all and a helping hand at every turn. He will be missed dearly and remembered always (even when a wayward golf shot hits someone, Me, in the head!). Rest in peace. You are in a better place. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jerry, his family and friends. Another fine day on the links of Waters Edge. Ruff is called ruff because it is supposed to be rough and with all that rain it was tough getting out of the ruff. Bob Kennedy snapped the head off his iron trying to get out of the ruff. Anywhere in the fairway was the best option. A few holes around the clubhouse area were filled with cottonwood and even the non-allergenic were allergic when they finished. Next week University Park. Story of the week: Gar Ward, Marvin Huddleston, Dave Jennifer. Gar and Dave were waiting on a tee box when Dave looked down a spotted a $0 bill and he was so happy. Gar replies Put it into your pocket. A few holes later Marvin mentions to Gar that he is missing $0 bucks. Gar replies Dave Jenner stole it. Dave did give it up to Marvin at the end of the day. Spot Light of the Week: Dave Kappel Born into the Club 00 Golf and Bowling Best Memory: Winning the bowling league. R.M. Memory: I needed a 0 yard chip shot and just get on the green to win my match. I hit the ball into the water instead. Ron Miller wanted to remind us that the AED Machine is up and running. It will always be at the course we are playing that day.
