1 Gentlemen of the BTC, July 12, 2018 I m back. A big thank you to Andy Zilis for pinch hitting for me last week on short notice. It is such a great honor to be part of this club and working with the officers and committee members as we all do what we can to Get er dun. You are also my friends. Enough with the B.S. Did everyone get a chance to see Jack McGuire? He was the one with the super tan body and a left hand as white as his feet. As he is now living in Florida and wearing a golf glove and golf shoes every day for 52 weeks. Welcome back Jack and a little spray tan is on its way. On other club news I got from a reliable source. Did you know that back in the toddler stages of the BTC we used caddies? More to follow as this second BTC generation source puts his scrambled memory on paper. Story of the day. Comes from our President Larry Garetto. Larry was running late and one of the Garetto clan paid for his golf. On the $10 grand hole in one hole Larry lips the cup and then asks if he was put in the hole in one contest. We knew nothing about that! Well Larry, they not only saved the extra cash but you also got beat in closest too. Our kids really do have a spark of genius now and then. Quote of the day. Gar Ward, They are making 72,000 yard courses now. That s in the vicinity of 41 miles. I think he meant 7,200 yards. Congratulations to all 8 divisions of President s Cup winners. The battles were intense and most came down to the final few holes. In any competition there can only be one winner, so to those who fell short, there is next year.
