Exhibiting will provide the opportunity to network with a quality audience of ARIPPA plant managers, operations, environmental and maintenance personnel. This year s format and schedule encourages maximum participation. The 2018 ARIPPA Annual Tech Convention is being held at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Hotel in Harrisburg, PA. The Technical Symposium portion will be held Wednesday, August 15 th from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM and the Trade Show will run from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Cocktails and hors d oeuvres will be served from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Please note that the $600 exhibit fee includes attendance to the Technical Symposium and Awards Luncheon for up to two (2) people. However, there is still a separate fee to attend the ARIPPA PAC Golf Outing on Tuesday, August 14 th. 2 EXHIBITOR RESERVATION FEES The exhibit fee is $600, which includes your booth space and attendance for up to two (2) people. Discount pricing only applies to those that have reserved and paid by July 15, After July 15 th the price increases to $800. Please note that the exhibit fee includes attendance to the Technical Symposium and Awards Luncheon for up to two (2) people. If more than two (2) people attend from your company, there is an additional fee of $85 for each additional person. This increases to $95 per person after July 15 th. Participating exhibitors will be supplied a 6 x 30 draped display table, which will be assigned on a first pay basis. The area assigned to each exhibitor, including the table and chairs, will be 8 x 6. Displays and backdrops must fit within this area no exceptions! ARIPPA will place exhibit hall direction signs in the hotel to maximize attendance. However, attendance will be limited to current ARIPPA members, plant personnel, symposium speakers, and participating member exhibitors. 4 SHERATON HOTEL EXHIBITOR REGULATIONS & INFORMATION Initial / / Date Initial / / Date Initial / / Date Initial / / Date Use of Exhibit Space: To protect the safety and security of all Hotel guests and property, Exhibitor agrees that they will not use any items in the function space that create any amplified noise, smell, or visual effect other than decorations without advance notification and written approval by Hotel. Examples of items that require advance approval include, but are not limited to, smoke or fog machines, dry ice, confetti cannons, candles, incense or any other activity that generates smells. Exhibitor will obtain any required Fire Marshall or other safety approvals and agrees to pay any expenses incurred by Hotel as a result of such activity, such as resetting smoke or fire alarms or unusual clean-up costs. Contracted Vendors: Hotel has contracted with certain other providers of services (e.g. destination management companies, florists or drayage/exhibit provider). ARIPPA or Exhibitor may elect to use the provided services for its meeting or event ( Contracted Vendor ). Although the use of Contracted Vendors is encouraged, ARIPPA or Exhibitors may use their own vendors for these services provided that proposed vendors meet minimum standards established by Hotel, including insurance and indemnification requirements. Security: Hotel does not provide security in the meeting and function space and all personal property left in the meeting or function space is at the sole risk of the owner. ARIPPA hereby advises its exhibitors and attendees that they are responsible for safekeeping of their personal property. ARIPPA will not retain security personnel to safeguard personal property in the meeting and function space. Any security personnel retained by ARIPPA or Exhibitors must be at its own expense and from a licensed security company that meets the minimum standards established by Hotel, including insurance and indemnification requirements, and at all times remains subject to Hotel s advance approval. Security personnel are not authorized to carry firearms without advance Hotel approval. Waiver: The Exhibitor assumes the entire responsibility and liability for losses, damages, and claims arising out of the Exhibitor s activities on the Hotel premises and will indemnify, defend and hold harmless ARIPPA, the Hotel, its agents, servants and employees from any and all such losses, damages and claims. 9 ARIPPA PAC Annual Golf Outing Tuesday, August 14, 2018 GOLF INFORMATION The ARIPPA PAC Golf Outing is held on Tuesday following ARIPPA s Board Meeting. This is a great opportunity to mix with ARIPPA members, affiliated businesses, and professional leaders. All proceeds from the golf tournament will be utilized to fund ARIPPA s Political Action Committee (PAC).
