There s a great photo record detailing the construction of the golf course - we are nearly there! Maleny Golf Club is situated at 15 Porters Lane, Maleny, Qld 4552 Maleny Commerce News One of our major events for the year, the Maleny Street Christmas Carnival, is rapidly approaching. It s always a good time of year time to celebrate living in and visiting Maleny, but at Christmas it s time to rejoice in our town and our community with the Maleny Christmas Carnival on Friday 12th December. We all enjoy that brief period of time when cars disappear and our community fills Maple Street to enjoy the music, creativity, food, rides, fun, family and friends. Businesses can be involved in a variety of ways: selling raffle tickets, window dressing and also by providing a tax-deductable donation to the fundraising for purchasing a Spirometer for our very own Maleny Soldiers Memorial Hospital. Maleny Commerce (your local Chamber of Commerce) is the volunteer organiser of the Christmas Carnival and all funds raised by the Christmas Carnival Raffle go directly to our community. Twenty two of our local businesses have already contributed three thousand dollars worth of prizes to the Raffle and the Raffle tickets are available through these business s and many more options so keep your eye out! With six prizes on offer and at only two dollars a ticket, we d like to make this year our biggest community fundraiser to date. Buy local and support your community for Christmas! Cheers Spencer Shaw, President.
