Manion Cup (Group 3) 2400m: Auvray Trainer Mr J. Thompson advised that the gelding had pulled up well, and he will now add a tongue tie to Auvray's gear and may experiment with the gelding's gear in its trackwork. Race 7: Longines Golden Slipper (Group 1) 1200m: Scarlet Rain Stable representative Mr N. Paine advised that the filly will be spelled. Kembla Grange Saturday 19 March 2016 Race 1: KPMG Maiden Plate 1200m: Futureal Co-trainer Mr Paul Snowden advised that Futureal has now been spelled. Race 8: Catholic Development Fund Maiden Plate 2000m: Austrian Stable representative Mr C. Duckworth advised that Austrian will now be spelled. RACE 1: TAB Rewards Handicap 1400m: The start of the race was delayed by approximately five minutes after Mr Darcy became cast and, while the gelding was freed, the rest of the field had to be removed and subsequently reloaded. Mr Darcy was a late withdrawal at 2.19 p.m. on veterinary advice when the gelding reared and became cast. Stewards subsequently ordered that all monies wagered on Mr Darcy be refunded in full and, with regard to betting with bookmakers, all successful wagers made prior to 2.19 p.m. be subject to the following deductions in the dollar on the face value of the ticket: 1 st Queen Of Wands less 17ȼ win and 17ȼ place 2 nd Francais less 15ȼ place Trainer's representative Mr C. Duckworth was advised that the gelding will be required to trial prior to racing again. Queen Of Wands underwent a veterinary inspection behind the gates and was passed fit to start. Francais hampered on jumping when Realise Potential shifted out. Dipped rounding the home turn.

Avdulla stated that in his opinion the filly, which had mixed form prior to its win at Newcastle on 12 March, was not suited by the step up in distance and grade today. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormality. RACE 2: Dapto Leagues Club Handicap 1200m: Pray To The Sky T. Clark stated that the colt was able to work across and travelled well in the lead from its wide barrier, however, weakened when placed under pressure in the straight and in his opinion did not run out a strong 1200 metres. T. Clark added that Pray To The Sky may also have come to the end of its preparation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed Pray To The Sky to be lame in the off-foreleg. Stable representative Mr N. Paine advised that the colt will now be spelled. No further action was taken. Radcliffe bumped on jumping and became unbalanced when Rode To Sundown shifted out. Near the 300m, had to be checked away from the heels of Pound Sterling, which was disappointed for a run between Pray To The Sky, which shifted out slightly when weakening, and Rode To Sundown. First Channel slow to begin. Revolver slow to begin. Rivo Boy slow to begin. RACE 3: Anytime Fitness Albion Park Handicap 1200m: Muzyka had some difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the straight and could not be fully tested from the 200m to the winning post as it gradually made ground onto the heels of Sanaya. Fast Candy jumped awkwardly. Crevettine slow to begin. J. McDonald stated that he could offer no tangible excuse for the performance of the filly. He added that Crevettine was under pressure immediately on straightening and in his opinion may not have backed up from its first race start when successful at Wyong on 3 March. J. McDonald added that the filly showed some signs of distress following the event, indicative of a hard run. A post-race veterinary examination revealed Crevettine to be displaying a poor post-race recovery of respiratory origin. Stable representative Mr D. Beadman stated that he was disappointed in the filly's effort and expected her to let down in the straight. He was advised that a veterinary clearance, including the results of a scope, must be provided prior to Crevettine racing again. Dixie Chick slow to begin. Doubt She's A Lady near the 500m was obliged to race in restricted room and made contact with Crevettine and Sanaya. In the incident, Sanaya became unbalanced. The filly could not be fully tested in the run to the finish when awkwardly placed to the inside of the heels of the weakening Crevettine.

3 3 RACE 4: Tab.com.au Handicap 1400m: Amazon App K. Jennings stated that his mount, racing first up over this distance today, did not finish off after being obliged to cover ground with its top weight. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormality. Hermosa Beach near the 300m, was unable to proceed to the outside of Lycia and had to alter course to the inside of that runner to continue into clear running a short distance later. Tremezzina Change of tactics to be ridden more forward: settled just behind the leader. Loveitt slow to begin. Too Chic leaving the 600m, became unbalanced when obliged to race in restricted room between Amazon, which laid in, and Hermosa Beach. At the 500m, Too Chic had to be steadied when crowded between Amazon and Hermosa Beach (B. Avdulla), which shifted out. B. Avdulla was advised to exercise care when shifting ground. RACE 5: All Too Hard Handicap 2000m: Monogram When questioned regarding the mare settling back in the field, rider J. McDonald stated he was under no specific instructions other than to allow Monogram to settle depending on how she jumped. He said the mare began fairly and when he assessed the early speed as genuine, rather than push on and take up a forward position he allowed his mount to settle worse than midfield. J. McDonald stated that in his opinion Monogram raced flat and only ran to the line fairly, and it may benefit from a spell. Stable representative Mr D. Beadman stated that they expected the mare to be in a forward position, however, concurred that the instructions were to allow it to settle, depending on how it jumped and the tempo of the race. Mr Beadman added that when it was apparent that the early speed was solid (approximately three seconds quicker than the good track average for the first 1400 metres) J. McDonald rode in accordance with his judgement. He added that in his opinion Monogram ran to the line fairly without threatening and indicated that she would continue her preparation in Melbourne. Nissile overraced in the early and middle stages and near the 1000m made contact with the running rail. App. L. Grace was questioned regarding the tempo set by the gelding in the middle stages. He explained that whilst he had expected to take up a forward position, Nissile overraced with him and brushed the running rail near the 1000m. He added that, although he again went for a hold on Nissile in an attempt to restrain the gelding, Nissile continued to overrace and, although he was aware of the quicker than average tempo, his mount failed to come back underneath him. RACE 6: Hyland Race Colours Handicap 1600m: Bolord crowded and buffeted on jumping between Moher and Plot Twist. Plot Twist became unbalanced at the start. Moher jumped awkwardly, shifted in and bumped Bolord. Hypernicus passing the 600m, was disappointed for a run between Uncle Sugar and Bolord, and had to be steadied away from the heels of Uncle Sugar.

RACE 7: TAB More Than Just Winning Handicap 1300m: Montauk was held up from the 100m and could not be fully tested in the run to the finish. Liberty Island was withdrawn at 5.13 p.m. on veterinary advice when the gelding was kicked behind by another runner. Stewards subsequently ordered that all monies wagered on Liberty Island be refunded in full and, with regard to betting with bookmakers, all successful wagers made prior to 5.13 p.m. be subject to the following deductions in the dollar on the face value of the ticket: 1 st Roman Odyssey less 16ȼ win and 16ȼ place 2 nd Murraguldrie less 16ȼ place 3 rd Brewery less 15ȼ place Mr C. Duckworth, representing Trainer Mr C. Waller, was asked to provide a veterinary clearance for the gelding prior to it racing again. Art Nouveau J. McDonald stated that, after the gelding slipped behind on jumping away, it never felt comfortable throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have sustained abrasions to the off hind hock. Jacakaizane held up behind the weakening Lonnero passing the 200m and had to alter course to the outside of Murraguldrie to continue into clear running thereafter. Roman Odyssey shifted ground outwards under pressure over the concluding stages. Majestic Reign App. B. Ryan was reprimanded for using the whip on seven occasions prior to the 100m (two more than permitted under AR137A(5)(a)(ii)).
