PO Box 467, Baraboo, WI February 6, 2019 Dear Friends of the Sauk County Fair, Welcome to another fun filled and exciting year of the Teaching, Learning, and Growing, that goes hand in hand with the Food, Family, and Fun at the Sauk County Fair! All of this would not be possible without your help all year round! We have now established a recognized 501c3 nonprofit which we have named Friends of the Sauk County Fair. This will open so many doors such as applying for grants, allowing donors to include their contributions to the non-profit as a tax deductible donation, as well as pursuing more sponsorships. We have an exciting year planned on the fairgrounds. We are working on an interactive and educational agriculture exhibit to give our fair goers the real agriculture experience. It will teach them where their food comes from as well as how it all works, from Farm to Table. This will help expand the minds of everyone. Teach, Learning, and Growing together! Plans for a new animal building are also in the works. The fairgrounds are busting at the seams and in need of repairs. This new building will help as a solution to the growing numbers of exhibitors and to have a beautiful building to safely house and exhibit the animals in. We have had many generous people and businesses come forward to help, but we are still looking for more to help in whatever way they can to help us achieve our goal. We are also bringing music back to the grandstands. The Marshall Tucker Band will be taking the stage on Saturday July 13th with opening act Jimmy Nick and Don t Tell Momma. Along with dirt flinging tractor pulls by Pullers Inc, South Central, and Badger State Tractor Pullers, horse pulls, A.T.V. Racing provided by SWIRA, and an exciting Demo Derby. This year will be another one to not miss out on, there will be something for everyone in the family! The fairgrounds are still providing educational events all year round, there is always something buzzing around. 8th Grade Career Day, Boys and Girls Club, The Boy Scouts, just to name a few. Again we would not be able to do this without your help. Please take a moment to look at the Sponsor and Donation page as there are some changes and new opportunities to help us this year.
