See attached flyer for information. Pittsburg County Fair Rifle Competition Results Recently Pittsburg County 4-H held our annual County Fair Rifle Contest at Collins Wildlife Facility. This event is held in coordination with the County Fair but prior to the County Fair. Pittsburg County Free Fair Archery and Shotgun Contest Results Our county recently held our annual County 4-H Archery and Shotgun contests. Pittsburg County 4-H Share the Fun The Pittsburg County Share the Fun will be held Saturday, November 5 th at Kiowa School. Registration begins at 9:00 am. Pre-Entry is due October 21 st to the OSU Extension Office by 5:00 pm. This will be for Cloverbuds, Jr. and Sr. 4-Hers. See attached flyer.

3 Share the Fun Jr., Sr., and Cloverbud Contest: November 5 th, :00 Kiowa School Ages Pre-entry due by October 21 st, 2016 (age as of January 1, 2017) Open to all 4-H members (in appropriate age category) regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, gender or disability. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS 1. Length of act 6 minutes (on stage from the time the curtain opens until it closes). 2. Allowed 2 minutes to set up props; 2 minutes to remove props. 3. Time limits will be strictly adhered to 1 point will be deducted for every 15 seconds over the limit. 4. Only self-standing props will be allowed. 5. No paint or open flames (candles) allowed on stage. 6. Must clean up stage after act (in the 2 minutes allotted) and must provide your own cleaning supplies. 7. Participants must furnish all props and equipment (except piano). 8. Participants must be in the holding area when called. If not in the holding area when called, act will be disqualified. 9. A member can enter all categories but may only enter 1 act per category (example: member cannot be in 2 large group acts, even if they are different types of acts). 10. If your act needs special consideration (early or late because of other obligations), please note on your entry form. Once the order of acts is set, there will be NO changes. TYPES OF ACTS Musical vocal, instrumental or combination Dramatic plays, readings (humorous or serious) Novelty folk games, stunts, pantomimes, etc. TYPES OF ENTRIES Solo Small Group (2-4 members) Large Group (5 or more) TO ENTER: Complete an entry form (available from your club leader) and return it to the OSU Extension Center. A completed entry form must accompany each exhibit, along with complete recipe on an index card. 2. Entries must be prepared & baked by person entering item. 3. Items to be made from scratch NO MIXES! 4. All baking to be done in conventional oven. 5. No decorated cakes NO YEAST BREADS! 6. No canned or pre-mixed frosting. 7. Members can enter only one exhibit in each category. 8. Where feasible, food should be entered on a disposable plate covered with see-thru wrap or placed in a zipper closure bag. 9. To help promote the visibility of the county 4-H program and its members, champion entries will be kept and shared with the county commissioners and elected officials on the Monday following the contest. 10. This contest is open to all 4-H members regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, gender, or disability. NO QUICK BREADS all items must contain yeast! 4. All baking to be done in conventional oven CAN NOT be made in bread baking machine. 5. All breads will be made from scratch NO MIXES! 6. Members can enter only one exhibit in each category. 7. Bread should be entered on a disposable plate covered with seethru wrap or placed in a zipper closure bag. 8. Exhibits consist of one whole loaf or 3 rolls. 9. To help promote the visibility of the county 4-H program and its members, champion entries will be kept and shared with the county commissioners and elected officials on the Monday following the contest.
