3 The group will proceed to a set of lights in Carleton place, where a gas station and Tim Hortons are visible on the right go straight through the lights, the entry is there. oh look a slingshot in street view After the rush of the freeway, the simpler slower roads start. Slower speeds and less straight lines. our next stop is at Matoc 146 kms down the road. It has a nearby gas station and Tim Hortons for Lunch. Departing the Madoc Tims, we are enroute to Beaverton 163 kms straight down the road to another - Tim Hortons. This Tims is co-located with a gas station. A fuel top up is available if necessary, as this is the last intended stop with fuel. It is still a further 75 kms to the Hotel making total run of 240.

The next stop is possibly going to be skipped. Seen above and below as 525 Memorial Aveneu. If we have the police escort into Barrie, we will be meeting them at the Wendys/Tim Hortons in Orillia at that location.

7 There are multiple paths to move from Hotel to Peak powersports link provided above. Registration, media and departure will be launched from this Indian motorcycles dealer. The plan to enter the 400 from Peak is fairly straightforward. Once on the 400 Northbound, it is followed for hours.

8 The stop in Parry is off the highway at exit 224. The group takes the exit to cloverleaf towards town.

9 Once the TransCanada highway is rejoined near Sudbury, the group continues to McKerrow for lunch and fuel. Multiple entry points to the Esso station and Tim Hortons as seen in the previous image and street view. Groups can consider splitting so that some go to Tims first, fuel after, others can fuel first, then to Tims.

10 This dated screen shot of Blind river shows the Tim Hortons - we hope that the construction has been completed since the 2012 google photography. There is no convenient gas station, so those unsure of making 240kms will need to stop at the Esso station that is at the beginning of town on the left. Then catch up to the group at the Tims. Plan accordingly leaving McKerrow to be at the back. Approaching Sault Saint Marie, the Trans Canads highways does some dips and doodles follow the signs to stay on track. Our hotel is called the Algoma Water tower Inn, across from the Walmart on the highway should be easy to find.

12 The theme that you will start to see Tim Hortons and the Trans Canada highway. The easy start to the day is a right turn from hotel parking lot then go straight. Stay on the Trans Canada for the next few days. Tourist traffic and road construction will cause things to slow down, so it will be noticed that the expected average speed is not very high. Approaching Wawa, there will be a frontage road on the left you will want to take that to get to the gas station. The stop is scheduled 40 minutes if people really, really need to see the goose it is just a couple kms down the road on the right at the travel info-center that is at the airport. Don t dilly dally many miles need to be travelled this day.

13 Marathon for lunch. A small town stop where we will stop for fuel on the left side of the road, then continue down the road about 1 km to the restaurant on the right, just a little past the airport entry. The gas station in this image is no longer functional. Once fueled, people should move to the restaurant to get orders in and prevent a sudden rush of 30+ orders at once to the kitchen. The next stop is Nipigon Ontario. Multiple gas stations are available so different groups can grab different stations to RV at the Tim Hortons.

14 The legs get shorter as the day progresses a stop at the Terry Fox memorial serves as both photo opportunity, educational stop, and RV with our escorting group into Thunder Bay. As the group gets to Thunder Bay, the trans-canada takes a right we take a left. There are 2 left turn lanes in this intersection, that take us to the Hotel This image shows that we will go past the Montanas that is offering us discounted rates that night for dinner as we go to the hotel they are only a block apart.
