In fact, three of the semi-finalists are playing in Shenzhen for the first time. Leading the way is No. 2 seed David Goffin of Belgium, No. 5 Alexandr Dolgopolov of Ukraine, No. 6 Damir Dzumhur of Bosnia and Herzegovina and unseeded Henri Laaksonen of Switzerland. Goffin played in Shenzhen last year. In the first match on Center Court, Laaksonen takes on Goffin for the first time.
