2 PREVIEW : PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN - TOULOUSE FC Feature Preview After suffering their first loss of the season at Real Madrid, Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain hope to bounce back when they host struggling Toulouse on Saturday afternoon. Championship leaders PSG were unfortunate to fall 1-0 in the Spanish capital on Tuesday evening, striking the woodwork three times as they outplayed the Liga giants without reward. Full-back Serge Aurier said: "We're still frustrated as we have the feeling we did our job well. We controlled the match and we got into Real. I think we played well. Of course we lost and some people will only retain that and the group standings. We prefer to focus on what worked well." Ivorian international Aurier is enjoying an outstanding season and reverted to right-back at the Santiago Bernabeu after a successful one-off shift at centre-half in the Week 12 victory at Rennes. Aurier is now in his second season in the French capital, his loan move from this weekend's opponents Toulouse becoming permanent in the summer. He's well set to collect a second Ligue 1 title as PSG enter Week 13 with a commanding ten-point lead over the rest. PSG are unbeaten domestically this season with 10 wins and two draws in the league, a vast improvement on last season when they were also unbeaten after a dozen matches but had already been held to six draws. Aurier made the Ligue 1 team of the year in his final TFC season when he was an athletic presence at wing-back in the system the club used at the time. The 22-year-old says he's improving all the time: "I've progressed in a lot of areas, going forward and defensively. I think since my arrival in Paris I've eliminated the concentration problems which let me down in past seasons." The former Lens defender is full of sympathy for the predicament of TFC, who are 19th in the table. He said: "I'm still in contact with my old team-mates. I speak to them almost every day on the phone. I've missed only one match this season and that because we were playing at the same time. I'm upset because Toulouse have good lads and the squad hasn't changed much. There are a lot of talented players there and I know that when they have a bit more luck and are more clinical in front of goal then they'll start climbing the table." Toulouse forward Martin Braithwaite is their top scorer with five goals, but no other player has found the back of the net more than once. Dominique Arribagé's side are without a league win since beating Saint-Etienne on the opening day of the season. Danish international Braithwaite said: "We are losing our confidence and that makes it difficult to play our best football. We mustn't focus on the table, and we need to concentrate more on our play. When you play against Paris Saint-Germain it is difficult all over the field. Thiago Silva, for example, is a great defender. Serge Aurier? They have won 10 and drawn two of their 12 Ligue 1 games so far. They are ten points clear of Olympique Lyonnais in second. - They are currently enjoying their best-ever start to a campaign in the era of three points for a win. - PSG have been top of the table since beating GFC Ajaccio 2-0 in Week 2. - In their last outing, Paris beat Rennes 1-0 away. Tuesday's 1-0 loss at Real Madrid was PSG4s first loss of the season in 17 matches in all competitions and their first loss in 25 since a 2-0 defeat to Barcelona at the Camp Nou in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final last season on April Paris are undefeated in 25 matches in domestic competition, winning 23 and drawing two since a 3-2 reverse at the hands of Girondins de Bordeaux in Ligue 1 on March Paris have scored 26 goals in 12 games so far this season, the joint-best total along with OGC Nice. They have scored three or more goals on four separate occasions, including in 4-1 wins at FC Nantes and against Saint-Etienne. They have found the net in each of their last 23 Ligue 1 games since a 0-0 draw at AS Monaco on March 1. - Edinson Cavani and Zlatan Ibrahimovic have both scored seven Ligue 1 goals. - Ibrahimovic's brace against Marseille saw him become the leading scorer in the history of the club with 110 goals. He is now on 113 goals. - Cavani has scored 17 goals in his last 18 Ligue 1 appearances. - The capital club have conceded just six goals, the lowest total. They have kept seven clean sheets, including four in their first four matches. - Adrien Rabiot (v LOSC Lille, Wk 1) is the only PSG player to have been sent off this season. - HOME FORM: PSG are unbeaten at home this season and have mustered 13 points from five games (4W, 1D). - Angers are the only other club yet to lose at home this season. - Paris boasted the best home record in Ligue 1 last season, winning 15 and drawing four of 19 games at the Parc des Princes and picking up 49 points. - Olympique Lyonnais (1-1, Wk 6), AS Monaco (1-1, Wk 9), Montpellier Hérault SC (0-0, Wk 19) and SM Caen (2-2, Wk 25) were the only teams to avoid defeat away to PSG last season. - Blanc's side are unbeaten in 25 home Ligue 1 games since going down 2-1 to Stade Rennais FC on May 7, Ironically, PSG secured the title that night. - Paris have lost only one of their last 55 home Ligue 1 games, a run going back to November Last season, they lost just once in 28 home matches in all competitions. Marquinhos has been out with a thigh issue. - TOULOUSE FC: - GENERAL: Toulouse come into Week 13 in 19th place in Ligue 1 with nine points, having won one, drawn six and lost five of their games to date. They are in the drop zone on goal difference. - In their last outing, Toulouse drew 1-1 at home to Montpellier. Jérôme Roussillon (34') put MHSC ahead. Zinedine Machach (39') equalised. They have drawn two and lost four of six away outings thus far, scoring four goals and conceding 13 on their travels. - Toulouse have gone eight away league games without a win and have won just once in their last 16 away Ligue 1 outings, drawing two and losing 13. Paris Saint-Germain - Promoted to Ligue 1 in their present guise in 1974, PSG are in their 42nd consecutive top-flight season. - PSG's title triumph was their fifth and their third in a row (1986, '94, 2013 and 2014). They have won nine Coupes de France (1982, '83, '93, '95, '98, 2004, '06, '10 and '15), and five Coupes de la Ligue (1995, '98, 2008, '14 and '15) after completing an unprecedented domestic quadruple (with the Trophée des Champions) in the campaign. - PSG ended last season on 83 points, eight clear of second-placed Olympique Lyonnais and 12 ahead of AS Monaco in third. - PSG became only the second French club to win a European trophy when they beat Rapid Vienna to the 1996 UEFA Cup Winners Cup' title. - PSG play at the 48,712-seat Parc des Princes.
