2 PREVIEW : PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN - RC LENS Feature Preview Laurent Blanc has been keen to play down talk of a potential domestic treble, but Paris Saint-Germain are a team in form and can go back above Olympique Lyonnais to the top of Ligue 1 with a win at home to struggling RC Lens at the Parc des Princes on Saturday. The capital club eased into the semi-finals of the Coupe de France with a 2-0 victory against an under-strength AS Monaco on Wednesday thanks to a goal in each half by David Luiz and Edinson Cavani. They are already through to the Coupe de la Ligue final against SC Bastia next month and are breathing down the necks of the leaders in Ligue 1. PSG could have gone top of the table last weekend, but followed Lyon's 2-1 defeat at LOSC Lille by drawing 0-0 in Monaco, not a bad result by any means although a frustrating one for Paris nevertheless given that they created all the chances at the Stade Louis II. Blanc's men are unbeaten in seven Ligue 1 games and 13 matches in all competitions since a calamitous 4-2 defeat at SC Bastia on January 10. Only a point behind Lyon, they are unbeaten at home this season in 20 games and can welcome back Zlatan Ibrahimovic this weekend after the Swedish striker missed the two games against Monaco in league and cup due to suspension. His return comes as a big boost as Paris - who have Lucas, Serge Aurier, Yohan Cabaye and Thiago Motta on the sidelines at the moment - fine-tune their preparations for next Wednesday's Champions League last-16, second leg against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in a tie which is poised at 1-1. A European exit would be a huge blow, but a clean sweep of the domestic trophies - Paris also won the season-opening Trophée des Champions in August - would be an unprecedented achievement. "Everyone has Chelsea on their minds but before that we have a difficult week. Lens is an important match that we have to win and do so by playing well," said Blanc after the victory against Monaco. "We are trying to rotate the squad a bit, but I have players missing so I can't do any more. I hope to get one or two players back on Saturday. Cabaye and Thiago Motta are the closest to being fit again. "I'll leave all talk of trebles to you guys (the media). For the moment the only thing that is certain is that we are in the final of the Coupe de la Ligue. We are not in the final of the Coupe de France, we are a long way from being champions and a long way from qualifying in the Champions League." On paper, this is the biggest mismatch in Ligue 1, between the defending champions with one of the biggest budgets in world football and Lens, whose myriad off-field problems and a ban on signing any new players have contributed to a difficult season on the pitch. Lens coach Antoine Kombouaré will return to the Parc des Princes in an opposing dugout for the first time since he was unceremoniously sacked by PSG in December 2011 with his team top of the league. However, the former Paris defender refused to be distracted by talk of an emotional day on a personal level. "It does mean something to me to go back to the Parc, But what interests me is my team. I couldn't care less about what kind of welcome I get," he said. "We need to take advantage of the moments during the game when PSG take their foot off the pedal. If PSG play to their potential, we have no chance. We just have to hope that they are already thinking about Chelsea." Lens have not won any of their eight Ligue 1 games in 2015 and are nine points adrift of safety. They have won just once in their last 12 away outings and are without the suspended Pierrick Valdivia along with injured duo Démé N'Diaye and Dimitri Cavaré. But despite all that, Kombouaré is not throwing in the towel. "We are aware that we have problems. We are nine points from 17th place. It is very complicated. But we are not going to give up," he said. 3 - HISTORY: Paris Saint-Germain have played host to Lens on 32 previous occasions in the top flight, winning 21, drawing five and losing just six. - PSG have scored 68 goals in this fixture to 35 for Lens. - The last meeting of the clubs at the Parc des Princes came in February 2011 and ended in a 0-0 draw. PSG last won at home to Lens in the league in January 2008, when Pedro Miguel Pauleta scored once and Amara Diané twice in a 3-0 victory watched by 35,658 fans. That is PSG's only win in their last nine home league meetings with Les Sang et Or. However, since then Paris have won at home to Lens in both the Coupe de la Ligue (2-0, January 2009) and Coupe de France (5-1, January 2011). - Lens recorded their first ever win away to PSG in October 1998 (1-0) and then won at the Parc des Princes on five consecutive visits between 2003 and Their biggest win in this fixture remains a 3-1 success in November 2006, when Sylvain Armand put the hosts ahead but Lens came back with Daniel Cousin scoring twice. - PSG's biggest win at home to Lens is 4-0, a score recorded in September 1996 when Leonardo scored twice and both Rai and a young Nicolas Anelka were also on target. - Earlier this season, Paris beat Lens 3-1 in the reverse fixture, which was played at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis on October 17 (Week 10). Adamo Coulibaly (10') gave Lens the lead but Yohan Cabaye (28'), Maxwell (34') and Edinson Cavani (pen-55') scored to give Paris the win. Cavani was sent off in the second half, along with Jean-Philippe Gbamin and Jérôme Le Moigne of Lens in a game watched by 70,785 at the national stadium. - PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN - GENERAL: Paris ended last weekend's games in second place in the Ligue 1 table with 53 points from 27 games. They have won 14, drawn 11 and lost two of their games to date and are one point behind leaders Olympique Lyonnais. - Laurent Blanc's side have not been higher than second after a matchday this season. However, they have been permanent members of the top four since a 2-0 win at Caen on September 24 (Wk 7). - This time last season, PSG were top with 64 points, eight points clear of AS Monaco in second.
