2 PREVIEW : PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN - GIRONDINS DE BORDEAUX Feature Preview Paris Saint-Germain are still looking for their first win of the season as in-form Bordeaux visit the Parc des Princes hoping to extend their own eight-match winning streak... The pressure is already building around the capital club after taking just two points from their opening matches against modest Lorient and Ajaccio. "We knew it wasn't going to be easy. Everywhere we go, the opposition is determined to knock us off and we will need to be strong mentally. We have already seen it this season against 'smaller' sides. We wanted to win, but it didn't happen," explained France midfielder Blaise Matuidi. "We have to start winning, starting this weekend against Bordeaux, a team full of confidence at the moment." Carlo Ancelotti welcomes back Zlatan Ibrahimovic after an ankle injury rulled him out of last weekend's scoreless draw in Corsica, and may offer a debut to Brazilian defender Thiago Silva who trained normally this week after playing for his country at the London Olympics. However Ancelotti, who was sent to the stands in the second half against Ajaccio for kicking a bottle onto the pitch is without Argentina forward Ezequiel Lavezzi suspended. Bordeaux's eight-game winning streak dates back to last season and saw them qualify for the Europa League play-offs on the final day of the season. On Thursday, they returned from Red Star Belgrade with a scoreless draw ahead of the return leg at Chaban-Delmas next Thursday. However coach Francis Gillot is already concerned how his 26-man squad will cope with a third game in a week: "The match against Paris is massive! I'm a bit worried because, physically, the players gave an awful lot against Red Star, just as they had done four days earlier in the heat against Rennes. I could see certain players were tired out there. There's Paris, and then we have to back up again and if we aren't fresh enough, we won't qualify." Matuidi, however, isn't buying into the debate: "It's always tough to back up with midweek games. You need to have a big squad to maintain the results. But I also think that Bordeaux will be up for Sunday because they're playing Paris Saint-Germain. They will forget about the fatigue. The Parc des Princes has been a happy hunting ground for them, so we need to do everything to stop that run." Gillot welcomed back captain Jaroslav Plasil (Achilles) and midfielder Landry Nguemo to the squad for the Europa League clash in Belgrade. Defender Mathieu Chalmé, reserve goalkeeper Kevin Olimpa and defender Henrique all missed the opening two games of the season recovering from long term injuries. Abdou Traoré (thigh) and David Bellion (groin) are also sidelined. PSG's last win came in Week 32 of the season, 3-1. Girondins' 'keeper Ulrich Ramé was sent off in the 31st minute and PSG opened the scoring four minutes later through Sylvain Armand (35'). 3 - HISTORY: In 38 previous Ligue 1 meetings at the Parc des Princes, Paris Saint-Germain have won 17, drawn ten and lost In Week 29 of last season, this fixture ended 1-1 with Cheick Diabaté opening the scoring in the 77th minute for Bordeaux, only for second-half substitute Guillaume Hoarau to equalise for PSG four minutes later (81'). - Les Girondins recorded a 2-1 win in the season thanks to goals to Alou Diarra (64') and Michael Ciani (90+4'), while Hoarau netted for the capital club (76'). - PSG's last win came in Week 32 of the season, 3-1. PSG finished the season with four home wins. - INJURIES: Ibrahimovic missed the trip to Ajaccio with a foot and ankle injury, picked up in the opening game against Lorient. Early in the week he was considered a doubt for the Bordeaux game. - Mohamed Sissoko (left knee) is still missing and 'keeper Nicholas Douchez also missed the trip Ajaccio through injury. - However Thiago Motta trained normally this week after injuring his hamstring in the final of Euro 2012 with Italy. - SUSPENSIONS: Lavezzi is suspended after being sent off last weekend against Ajaccio. - BORDEAUX: - GENERAL: Bordeaux are one of four sides atop the Ligue 1 standings with two wins from two this season. Their last defeat came with a 1-0 loss away to Caen in Week Bordeaux opened the campaign with a 3-2 win away to Evian before defeating Rennes 1-0 thanks to Ludovic Obraniak's second goal in as many games. The Poland international blasted home from inside the penalty box after Rennes failed to clear a corner. - AWAY FORM: Bordeaux have won their last four away matches in Ligue 1, including their opening day 3-2 win over Evian TG. Ludovic Obraniak opened the scoring in the 11th minute and Yoan Gouffran added a second three minutes later (14'). Daniel Wass scored from a free-kick for Evian (17') before Henri Saivet netted the third for Bordeaux (52'), heading home a Obraniak corner. Saber Khlifa scored a second for the home side in the final minute (90+4'). - EUROPA LEAGUE: Bordeaux drew 0-0 with Red Star Belgrade on Thursday in the first leg of their Europa League play-off tie. - The return leg will be played at the Stade Chaban-Delmas next Thursday.
