They are running 35 cars from Los Angeles to Amarillo and another 35 cars from Chicago to Amarillo for a charity rally. Cars are a mixture of GTO's, Corvettes, Mustangs and Minis and will arrive at the 66 Casino May 20th. It's a timed event, and they are looking for a local car club or interested person(s) to check in the first few arrivals by writing down the car numbers and time. A banner can be placed at the check in point, so our Association banner, a small table and membership applications might work nicely. 12 DONUT DERELICTS Donut Derelicts aka Burrito Bandits meets in the Starbucks/Dos Hermanos Plaza off of Jefferson (same location as the past year) at 8AM on Saturdays. There are several places there for coffee, or even breakfast. There is a Maestas and Ward in the NW corner, and that's where we park; there is a Starbucks, a Dos Hermanos, a Hello Deli and a Twisters Jefferson NE. Spread the word - all makes of cars.
