Thank you to Bill Peifer and David Pachak-Robie, we are back in business. We owe these guys a real pat on the back! 2010 Council Dates: Please put these dates on your club calendars to try to avoid any scheduling problems with other events. Albuquerque Museum Car Show-May 16, 2010 All Clubs' Picnic-August 15, 2010 (Rickshaws have volunteered to run this event) NMCCC Los Lunas Annual Swap Meet-September 24-26, New Mexico Council of Car Clubs Minutes: March 24, 2010 Meeting Our President, Bob Agnew, called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM and the following club reps were present; Ron and Su Rymarz-OCCA, Dennis Seibert-Rickshaws, Jeff and Lauri Rector-NM4W, Don Jones-AMCC, John Hayne-Tin Lizzies of Albuq, Albert Muniz-Dukes Car Club, Frank Chavez-Dukes Car Club, Joe Cifarattta-VMCCA, Perry Key-Albuq Auto Artists, Dave Huntoon-CNM, Lisa Bon Durant-Saabisti NM, David-Pachak-Robie-Saabisti NM,Louie Paul-RRCC, Bill Lemen-LCOC, Joyce Clements-OCCA, James Clements-Tumbleweed Ford V-8, Chris Padilla-LOEGTO, Ray Cotinola-Rickshaws, Les Martinez-Classic Chevy Club, Carla Martinez-Classic Chevy Club, Paul McLaughlin-Mustang Owners Club, ATHS, Bob Agnew-CCCA. Old Business: Storage Unit- Dennis Seibert reports that there are still some modifications that need to be made to the unit and these changes are expected to be completed the first week of April and then we can move our council items in. By Laws and Member Club Dues- This measure was tabled because it was felt that there was no need at this time to change our by-laws or start charging yearly dues to our member clubs. This subject will be brought up again in the future if the need arises. Web Site Update- David Pachak-Robie reports that he has been in contact with our previous web site designer through s, phone calls, and etc. about getting our domain name back. It seems our previous designer is holding our domain name hostage until we pay him what he feels is owed. Since our web site has never worked properly we don't feel we owe him anything. It was decided to contact Bill Peifer to get our domain name back since Bill originally filed for the name more than two years ago. We discussed whether we should try to re-register our domain name for a longer than two year period. A ten year registration would probably cost us around $ Jim Clements made a motion that we find $ so that we don't have to face this problem of registering our domain name every two years. This motion was seconded and passed. The good news is that our web site is up and running now and easy to use. New Business: Albuquerque Museum Car Show Report-Joyce Clements reports that posters and flyers will be ready in two weeks and it was decided that we would meet at the Old Car Garage on April 7, 2010 to stuff car show flyer envelopes and prepare them for mailing. Everyone is invited to this stuffing party and pizza will be served after the work is done. Our Albuquerque Museum Show will be held on May 16, 2010 and this year we will be celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Hudson Automobiles and the 50th Anniversary of the Introduction of Detroit's Compact Cars of Spring Thaw-Bob Agnew reports that he still has a few openings for his "Annual Spring Thaw Open House" at Worldwide Automotive to be held on April 17, Come on down and enjoy a great lunch and have your old

2 car checked out. Don't forget to bring your checkbooks along so that you can make a donation to Cuidando Los Ninos. All Clubs Picnic- Bob Agnew and Dennis Seibert reported that the All Clubs Picnic will be held on August 15, This year we will be traveling north to Nambe Falls. A $5.00 fee will be charged per car. Annual Fall Swap Meet- September 24-26, 2010 at Morris Field in Los Lunas. Treasurer's Report: Ron Rymarz reports that as of this date our checking account balance stands at $ At this point our meeting was brought to an end. Paul G. McLaughlin Secretary COUNCIL STORAGE UNIT The Storage Unit has been purchased. Dennis Seibert is working on installing a more user-friendly door and installing shelves and cabinets. Thank you again to all the clubs who donated to make this possible. Editor's Note: On a bad news note, your editor will be undergoing chemo-therapy treatments for cancer starting the end of April. This means my schedule will be unpredictable, and I will need help sometimes to get stuff done. My doctors are very optimistic about the outcome, and I should be ok by mid-summer. In the meantime, I will do what I can and ask for help when I need it. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. It shall serve to foster communication and cooperation among the member clubs, as well as with similar organizations in other states. It shall be strictly non-profit in nature and will operate as a non-profit New Mexico corporation. Funds for its operation may be levied on its member clubs or raised by promoting automotive events.
