Present were: Jeff & Lauri Rector-NM4-Wheelers; Mike Maguire-Rickshaws CC; John Hayne-Horseless Carriage CC; Robert Gold-Corvairs of NM; Andy Yoakum, Chuck Logan-Cougars of NM; Pat Logan, Joyce Clements-Old Car Club; Joe Ballengee-Alb Model CC; Jane Webster-SW MotorSport; Perry Key-NM Artists; Jim Clements-Tumbleweed V8 CC; Mark Terkeltaub-NM Pontiac Club; Jamie Saavedra-V8 Vixens; Michelle Garcia-LOE GTO Club. All received newsletter except Mike Maguire (admitted not checking mailbox). Treasurer's Report: Joe B. Positive balance with most swap meet expenses/income met Web Site: R. Gold reports working on addresses/accounts using Dynadot getting ducks in a row and will have full details in January. Changing all contact info to.com and tell Peifer good-bye. Fee $5/mo for Google Apps. Robert Gold moved Council ok the fee; Joyce seconded. Since only Active Member Clubs present, vote taken, unanimous pass. Facebook: Jamie reports 1029 "likes". Bylaws votes collected and counting started. Swap Meet Report: Joyce had all numbers in; meet had more vendors but less profit than last year. Most vendors registered early at lower rate; costs were up on printing, carts, postage, etc. Even rise in sales tax rate was factor on large items; had to buy fire extinguishers for carts. Asked for and received $1500 to pay Los Lunas a donation. Village is working on field, but not on parking lot; parking lot belongs to State; Village won't pay to improve. Village is working on a gate into the south baseball field for future expansion; full up this year. Recommend upping registration fee and more budgeted to cover costs; went over budget this year. One purchase added was for more radios, and rental of carts for another day to aid in marking field. Newsletter: Dan Pyzel of Model A Club and NCRS will help printing and mailing snail mail copies. Robert, Dan and Joyce will meet and work together to make sure newsletter and calendar get distributed properly. New Business: Budget Committee will meet in January for the 2016 budget. John Hayne had suggestions for newsletter: No listing out-of-state events to save editor time. No listing any events whose dates conflict with Council major events: car show & swap meet. Sell ads for inclusion in newsletter to help cover expenses. Joyce explained many out-of-state events are attended by locals and are provided by Council in southern NM, so not a time-saver to leave out. Date conflicts considered a possible move. Selling ads is another job and no one wanted to do that. Officers and Board will make recommendations. Joyce, Dan & Robert will also make recommendations. Museum of Military History is now open next to Rich Ford. Information for visits is available. Vote tally shows all bylaw changes passed except Article IV: 4 b) dealing with duties of the Vice President. A new set of bylaws will be compiled incorporating the changes.
