In attendance were: Robert & Anne Marie Gold-Corvairs of NM; Michelle Garcia, Mat Storer-LOE GTO's; Tom Lamb, Perry Key-NM Auto Artists; Pat Logan, Andy Yoakum-Cougar Club; John Doran-RG Mustangs; James Clements-Tumbleweed V8's; Bob Agnew-Classic Car Club; Jamie N. The election month meeting of the NM Car Council got underway at 7:35. Thank you to Joyce Clements for taking some of the early notes. Everyone got their newsletters, and the ballot counters were dismissed to do their thing. During the vote counting President Dennis dispatched with some of the sundry agenda items. Lauri Rector, temporary acting treasurer, announced debits and credits, with our balance maintaining a positive balance. Robert Gold reported numerous visits to our web site. He is working with our provider to determine the best way of keeping our domain names current. Jamie Saavedra will be learning the ropes to back him up for maintaining the web site. Jamie also reported many "likes" on the facebook page. The votes being tabulated, we welcomed our new president Lauri Rector. Jamie was elected VP, and all other offices stayed as is. We also welcomed some new directors, Perry Key and Mark Terkeltaub. Joyce was called upon to discuss the upcoming car show volunteer luncheon. Which was deelish by the way. We also discussed a time and date for stuffing swap meet envelops. As of this writing that happened on July 8th. We also discussed some upcoming events. Please refer to your newsletter and or our great website for upcoming events. The remaining Summer will be replete with shows and events. Lauri told about the final details for Collector Car Appreciation Day and asked for some volunteers to help with parking. Jamie told us about the All Clubs Picnic. The cost will be $5 per car load, payable at the gate. All attendees are asked to contribute side dishes and desserts. A want list will be sent around. President Dennis also introduced yours truly to discuss what the by-laws committee was coming up with. We will be meeting Thursday July 16th to put some final touches on the by-laws. Seeing no other business in his final meeting he turned the gavel over to Lauri, who asked for any final thoughts before she took a motion to adjourn. We broke up at 8:27 with a new leadership in place. Good luck to all of those elected on the board and the new directors. Thank you for stepping up and giving your best to this organization. We look forward to you leadership. Thanks and see us next month. Your old and new again Secretary, Bill Lemen ********** SWAP MEET NOTES Swap Meet registrations have been mailed and ed.
