2 Home Base Overview Home Base, a Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital Program, is dedicated to healing the invisible wounds for Veterans, Service Members and their Families through world-class clinical care, wellness, education and research. As a National Center of Excellence, Home Base operates the first and largest private-sector clinic in the nation devoted to healing invisible wounds such as post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injury, anxiety, depression, co-occurring substance use disorder, military sexual trauma, family relationship challenges and other issues associated with military service. Since inception, Home Base has served more than 11,000 Veterans and family members with care and support, trained more than 45,000 clinicians, educators and community members nationally and remains at the forefront of discovering new treatments ensuring a brighter future for the 21 st century warrior and military family. 3 2018 Run to Home Base The Run to Home Base presented by New Balance is a unique fundraising 9K run or 5K run/walk through Boston ending with the unforgettable experience of crossing home base (plate) at historic Fenway. Since 2009, the Run has raised over $15M for Home Base. Date: Saturday, July 28, 2018 Course: Participants: Activities: Schedule: Start and finish inside Fenway Up to 4,000 runners and walkers from across 30 states and an estimated10,000 friends and family members who will cheer on participants from the stands at Fenway. 400 Active Duty Military Members participate in the event. Military appreciation area where the public will create care packages for Military Members serving overseas; Fan Experience Zone with trophies, Red Sox Legends, Wally the Green Monster; other family-fun activities. 6am Park opens; 7:15am Opening Ceremonies, 8am 9K/5K; 10:30am postparty; 7pm Day at the Park game recognizing Home Base (pending game time). 2

4 Media Coverage and Branding The Run to Home Base generates significant media coverage and branding throughout New England. NESN: Other TV: Radio: Print/On-Line: National: Social Media/ Individual Donors: Other: Over 600 ad units and numerous in-game interviews and post-run news stories; NESN personality Tom Caron runs in the event and serves as emcee. Coverage on major networks (WHDH, WCVB, FOX25, WGBH, NECN, WGBY), Interviews with Executive Director General Hammond on Fox 25. Radio interviews with Executive Director General Hammond on over 12 stations throughout New England, including WBZ, Nightside with Dan Rea, WROR and RadioBDC. Articles in over 12 major regional publications, including several in The Boston Globe; articles posted on a large variety of websites. $50,000 worth of print advertising in The Boston Globe. MLB Network; several military media outlets Home Base, Mass General and Red Sox Foundation assets fully utilized; regional bloggers; 40+ web calendar listings; significant internal outreach within and to Mass General and Red Sox Nation lists; tens of thousands of s to a variety of runner, military lists and business lists. Over 2,700 participants are communicating to 40,000+ donors whom support their fundraising efforts. Various out-of-home advertisements, including Boston Duck Boat ads/signs; in-theater and exercise club ads, and thousands of flyers distributed to a variety of locations and at Home Base outreach events. 3

11 Corporate Team Sponsorship $25,000 Company agrees to form a corporate team consisting of fundraising runners and/or walkers in addition to making a cash donation as outlined in the schedule below. Each fundraising runner/walker must commit to raise at least the fundraising minimum. Sponsorship secured before January 15th: Company receives 40 runner/walker bibs Each runner/walker must fundraise at least $550 Company pays $3,000 cash donation Sponsorship secured after January 15th: Company receives 25 runner/walker bibs Each runner/walker must fundraise at least $800 Company pays $5,000 cash donation Company can also choose to pay some or all of the runner/walker fundraising minimums for the team. Company receives following deliverables*: Full page ad in the Run program Four (4) signs throughout race course Logo featured on 4,000 Run to Home Base t-shirts which participants receive along with a Home Base hat Company name on Jumbotron during event Opportunity to have team wear corporate-branded shirts provided by company *Logo inclusion and usage to be dependent upon RSF/MGH approval 10
