2 TEAMS Members and horse/pony combination must have attended THREE WORKING RALLIES to be eligible for teams. This is a Pony Club Rule Any members interested in being in teams should contact Helen Watterson (XC) or Alison Mozejko (SJ), or for other disciplines, the DC. We welcome all members, teams will be picked with priority for those who attend training sessions. Some competitions have teams suitable for novice combinations therefore we can often enter a number of teams. Leave the team selection to the organisers! We all have to start somewhere and being keen to compete in teams is very important. Show Jumping: Alison Mozejko Horse Trials/ODE Helen Watterson Flatwork Mary Groombridge Other disciplines and Quiz: Alan Phillips WORKING RALLIES LPC s Working Rallies are aimed at passing PC tests and include horse care (stable management) Please let either Val or Alan know if you are NOT able to attend a Working Rally you have previously booked in for, as we need to book/cancel instructors. Contacts: Val Pocock for Combined Training Rallies, Helen Watterson for Cross Country, Mary Groombridge for flatwork rallies and Alison Mozejko for showjumping rallies. These are training rallies and are not to be confused with Working Rallies. Do not leave your pony tied up outside unattended at any rally or PC event including shows as they may get caught up or escape!! Also please park sensibly and clear up any mess around your trailer/lorry. Young children not riding must be kept to permitted areas only and not allowed to wander. Before each rally, tack will be inspected to ensure it is safe and well fitting. Riders will also be inspected for correctness and smartness of dress. Correct dress is: Tagged hat (dark, plain silk), PC (Yellow) sweatshirt and/or white shirt and PC tie and/or riding jacket, cream jodhpurs, jodhpur or riding boots. Please refer to our website for further information. Hat tagging is compulsory, all hats must be tagged to confirm they comply with current Pony Club Safety Standards (this will be done at rallies).

3 Riding in spurs is not permitted without written permission from the DC unless you have passed B test, members 12 yrs or under are not permitted to wear spurs at any PC event (Pony Club rules). ANNUAL SUMMER CAMP: COTTENHAM RACE COURSE Sunday 2nd August to Saturday 8th August 2015 Numbers will be limited, to qualify for Summer Camp, members should have attended at least THREE WORKING RALLIES. 5 THE FRANK STARLING TROPHY This will be presented to the member who in the opinion of the committee achieves the most throughout the year, this will be based on a number of factors including: Attending Rallies Representing LPC in teams Entering LPC Show classes Attending Camp Attending sponsored rides Setting a good example to other members Helping out generally *****************************
