The dance school will be the main point of contact for all festival information. Please note that we will not use any of the contact information provided by participants for record keeping, future connection, marketing or advertising. 2 Rules and Guidelines Sportsmanship All participants agree to conduct themselves in a manner displaying good sportsmanship throughout the festival with positive presentation upon entry and exit from the performance area as well as throughout the routine. Styles of Dance All styles of dance are permitted for adjudication. Music Music should be appropriate for all ages and should be inspiring and uplifting. Music should not contain any suggestive lyrics or themes. All songs/dances should be no longer than two and half minutes (:0). Music will be submitted via Dropbox prior to the event. Backups should be brought on CD for adjudication. The Cathedral Dance Festival requests music is submitted via for approval by February 5, 08. Choreography Routine choreography should be appropriate and entertaining for all audience members and for performance in a Worship Center. No suggestive movement that may imply something improper. Costuming All costumes should be modest and age appropriate. The midriff area of the body should be covered by fabric. Group Dances for Adjudication A dancer can be adjudicated in no more than three () group pieces at the Cathedral Dance Festival. A group piece is defined as having 5 or more dancers. Small Groups for Adjudication - Solo, Duets, Trios & Quartets Each dancer is allowed to perform two () solos, duets, trios and/or quartets with their Friday participation fee. Each dancer is limited to a maximum of a total of five (5) solos, duets, trios and/or quartets at the Cathedral Dance Festival. A fee of $0 per dance/dancer is charged for each additional small group. Categories for Adjudication Use the average age of your group by January, 08 to determine which category they should be in. Youth = Ages 7-0 Junior = Ages - Senior = Ages 4 & up Awards Adjudicators will select the top 7 performances from small groups and group dances to open the evening Gala Concert. Age All participants must be the age of 7 as of January, 08. Video Taping Is not allowed during the festival. Cancellation Policy All payments are non-refundable. Once registration is received, all registered participants are expected to pay the festival fee. Page

No substitutions or changes to the meals.
