2 A Note from the Manager... Happy New Year! The Oaks had a great December, hosting around 50 Christmas Banquets and numerous parties in The Grill. The staff did a great job and were rewarded at the Employee Breakfast Party at which time we handed out Christmas Bonuses from our membership. THANK YOU for participating in giving to the Christmas Bonus Fund, it was appreciated by everyone! Club Information An exciting time for Oaks Country Club, Phase II will be underway the first week of January The Board of Directors, President Hal Lewis, Phase II Chairman Marc Chastain, Architect Chris White, and our Oaks representative Mike Gray have worked countless hours on this project. As a reminder, the Pro-Shop, Locker Rooms and Halfway House will be open during construction. We ask that you refrain from entering any area of the clubhouse for your safety during the construction process. The Tavern at the pool will open Friday, February 1, 2019 for normal grill hours (11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Tuesday - Sunday). An upgrade to our kitchen facilities will enhance our food program during the construction period and future use for the pool. Please join us during this time to support your club! Now that winter is here we are taking time to completely check all golf equipment. Each year we have a program which we fittingly call winterizing. This service is extended to all members golf bags in storage and is conducted by the Bag Room staff. Winterizing includes the following: 4 1. All golf bags are cleaned 2. All clubs are checked for name labels 3. All bags are checked for bag tags 4. All grips are cleaned 5. Any major club repairs will be brought to your attention and handled as you wish

We have forms available so you can loan your memorabilia to us and we can accurately credit you and insure proper return. We will be writing this book and also creating displays.
