2 EXPERIENCE THE THRILL OF THE CHASE For the sixth year in a row, the board of the Charlotte Steeplechase Fondation, Inc. is partnering with the Alzheimer s Association of Western North Carolina as its exclsive beneficiary of the 2019 races. Their mission is to eliminate Alzheimer s disease throgh the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and spport for all affected; and to redce the risk of dementia throgh the promotion of brain health. With yor spport we will be presenting them with a sizeable check so please add to their coffers by prchasing raffle tickets as 100% of the proceeds going to the Alzheimer s Association. MAIN DIRECTIONS FROM CHARLOTTE Take Providence Road, Soth (Rote 16) all the way to Waxhaw (Approximately 10 miles from I-485.) Alternatively yo can take Rea Road (East) to Providence Road. Trn right when Rea Road dead-ends into Providence Road. Follow Providence Road to Waxhaw. Once in Waxhaw go over the railroad tracks and trn left at the light onto Highway 75. Follow Highway 75 for.3 mile. At this fork, veer left for Gates 1 & 2, WILL CALL and General Admission Parking. Veer right for Gates 3 & 4. Follow the directions below that correspond to the Gate nmber on yor Car Pass. AVOID HEAVY TRAFFIC ON PROVIDENCE ROAD Take Interstate 485 to Highway 521 Soth/Johnston Road (Exit 61). Follow this for approximately 11 miles. Trn left on Highway 75 (East) toward Waxhaw/Monroe. Contine throgh the first light. Go.3 miles to the fork in the road, and follow the directions above that correspond with the Gate nmber on yor Car Pass. All gates will be clearly marked. FOR ADMITTANCE TO GATE 3 At the fork otside of Waxhaw, veer right onto Old Providence Road (Rote 1111). Contine straight for 5.4 miles (past Gate 4). (The road will change names Waxhaw-Monroe Highway then to Potter Road). Gate 3 will be on the left jst after yo enter the town of Mineral Springs. FOR GATE 4 At the fork otside of Waxhaw, veer right onto Old Providence Road (Rote 1111). Contine straight for 4.7 miles. (The road will change names from Waxhaw-Monroe Highway then to Potter Road). If yo enjoyed yor day and loved yor tailgating space, consider investing in a Permanent Space License (PSL) to garantee yor specific Lawn Box or Tailgate Space for Life! The Qeen s Cp racecorse was designed and bilt as a PSL tailgate vene in an effort to retire the over $2 million constrction debt incrred bilding this state-of-the-art facility. The only assred way of being placed in the same tailgate space year after year is to prchase a PSL license, otherwise yo are sbject to lottery placement. Here s how the PSL works: n The PSL license fee is a one time payment. Ownership is maintained by paying the annal sbscription fee yearly. n As a tailgate sbscriber to the 2019 Qeen s Cp, yo have the first right of refsal on yor 2019 assigned space to prchase that space as a PSL. This right mst be exercised no later than Friday, May 3, 2019 by 5:00 PM by calling or office (704) n If yo covet someone else s tailgate space more than yors, yo may claim that space if the crrent sbscriber does not act on their first right of refsal by Friday, May 3.
