2 MGR SANCTIONED SHOW RULES 1. Goats must be registered by the Myotonic Goat Registry. The ORIGINAL registration certificate MUST accompany the goat during check-in. Kids under three (3) months of age must be registered for any sanctioned classes. 2. Age eligibility for classes will be determined by the registration certificate. 3. The full correct registered name of goat must be used on the entry forms. 4. The goat s permanent ID (USDA scrapie tag, tattoo, or microchip) must be on the Certificate and registered with the MGR. 5. The correct Breeder/Exhibitor name as on the Reg. Certificate must be on the entry form, unless you have a signed transfer application that is dated 45 days or less to the show date. 6. One MGR Breeder number constitutes one exhibitor. But you may bring handlers to help. 7. Pending registrations will not be accepted at check in. 8. Substitutions will be allowed at Check-In at no charge. 9. Goats can be checked in from 5:00pm-9:00pm on 7/8/17, or from 7:00 am to 8:00am on 7/9/17, unless prior arrangements are made with the show secretary. 10. Goats will be released immediately after the completion of the show. 11. All goats MUST have a health certificate dated within 30 days prior to the show with the Wayne County Fairgrounds, Wooster, Ohio, listed as the destination. Scrapie rules apply. If you use microchips, you must furnish a reader. Tattoos MUST be legible. Scrapie tags are acceptable. If you do not comply with scrapie rules you will be asked to remove your goats from the grounds. 12. All goats must be shown with collar. Bucks must be secure at all times. 13. Show secretary reserves the right to split large classes. 14. Entry fee: $10.00 per goat/show including kids in sanctioned classes. $2.00 per goat late fee (after 7/1/17). 15. Entries must be received no later than July 1, 2017 to be entered into the show book. I will accept entries up until show time. 16. A Busy Breeder Incentive is also offered in lieu of $10 per goat; $190 for unlimited goats in both shows 17. MGR Rules to govern and to take precedence over all others 18. No refunds of entry fees. 19. This is a ribbon and points show. Any available awards will be announced at the show. 20. Goats may be sold private treaty. Any goats sold must be entered. 21. Any item that comes up that is not specifically covered by these rules will be decided by the show committee and their decision will be final. 22. All goats entering Ohio for exhibition must meet all the requirements for entry into Ohio. Goats may be examined by show personnel. Goats showing evidence of disease will not be allowed to enter the barn or show and may be released by officials. 23. The organizers of this show and the facility will not be liable for any loss, damages or accidents to animals, persons or property while participating in the show. Youth exhibitors are to be accompanied by a responsible adult. 24. No alcoholic beverages or smoking in the barns or arena allowed. 25. Pen Bedding: Straw Only; No wood products allowed per facility rules. 26. Camping: Camper camping is available on the grounds for $15 per night. Hot showers available. You can sleep in the barn for FREE. 27. Stall Clean-outs-Everyone is responsible to sweep the contents of their stalls into the barn aisle; Not to be done before the conclusion of the bucks of the 2 nd show.

The Wayne County Fairgrounds is a fully paved facility and handicapped accessible. 6. Ample parking at the facility for livestock trailers and vehicles. 7. The venue is conveniently located right off of US Route 30, which connects to multiple interstate highways to the west and east. 8. I do not recommend the nearby Super 8 Motel.
