FLIRTIN FOR CERTAIN got down to this level at this distance September th without producing; she did have early speed for $9,00 last time. MAHOGANY CAT had a big win at this distance back in July when she maximized her speed and she won at five and a half furlongs in the spring; at five furlongs last time, she was in a near impossible starter event, yet, ran third at - and both the first and second place finishers have come back with big performances; she is a strong contender. DOLLY STORMY used the out of the money on the turf to Tapeta angle last time with the big drop for just $,0; she cashed in with a speed style at six furlongs; it was her second lifetime score and now she tries non winners of three and cuts back to five furlongs. HAVEAWONDERFULDAY had success here in the spring at this exact distance; she was a regular at the Fort Erie meeting and was second there last time at five furlongs for $,00. GINGER CANDY is fresh in this first start since October nd and will be dropping for $,0 and cutting all the way back to five furlongs; she had a good race October st where she reported in second and she had Mahogany Cat in behind her; most recently, she was just on the edges when she hung; she can contend. COCA INN is worth a look because of her speed and the big drop she takes today; she was in a key race last time and made the early lead at this distance before slipping back very late; the fourth place finisher, Souper Sarah, came back to win for $,00 while she goes for just $,0 today. LADY VIOLET M was able to win second time off the claim in the summer time at Fort Erie on turf; her form slipped here for $0,000 last time and she takes an understandable drop in value. RACE # ROSEMERE IT SNICETOBENICE PIPER S HEATH RED RIOT ROSEMERE was second in the Nandi Stakes back in August at five and a half furlongs then was fifth beaten about three lengths when adding lasix in the Victorian Queen last time; the winner has come back to win the South Ocean; following a freshening, she will now stretch out to seven furlongs for Mark Casse. PIPER S HEATH made a favourable impression in her debut November th at seven furlongs; she broke behind but was able to salvage third money with a run on technique; the winner has come back to be second in the South Ocean Stakes; Boulanger was aboard for a subsequent work in.0. for Mike Mattine. RED RIOT debuted November th at six furlongs against some of these when facing a key debut winner; she finished third beaten three and a half lengths with, It snicetobenice, in second; Hernandez takes over with lasix added and a move out to seven furlongs. MAMITA S CHICA faced some of these November th at six furlongs in her debut and moved from the second flight along the inside with a touch of interest to be sixth of nine; more room is added here. HAPPYCREST debuted at long odds November th and raced from between rivals in the second flight within range and was finally seventh beaten just eight lengths; more room is available here. PETITE AMIE debuted October th under bad weather conditions and did not enter contention; she has tried to build up with some recent works including a speed trial from the gate November th in 9.bg. LADY WITH CLASS had a good race under bad weather terms two starts ago; most recently, she seemed to get pinched early and never did recover at seven furlongs in the same race where Piper s Heath was better in third; she has the benefits of a work November th in getting ready. IT SNICETOBENICE came out of the Princess Elizabeth Stakes and cut back in distance to six furlongs for a maiden contest last outing; she made a strong move in the stretch to be second against a winner who was also moving very well; she reported in second and had several of these in behind her; she now stretches to seven furlongs a distance she has already handled well.

2 JIM S JOURNAL NOVEMBER 9 TH, RACE # 9 LUNAR LIGHT PHIL IN THE BLANK AARONIC BLESSING BUTTERFLY STRIKE PHIL IN THE BLANK has been protected for an extended time but for this late season run at just five furlongs, he drops substantially for just $0,000; beside him in the gate is another fast individual, Aaronic Blessing, and, Spin The King, also likes to go fast in the middle stages; he draws the rail here with Slade Callaghan. AARONIC BLESSING had his big chance when he dropped in for $,000 last time and added blinkers and money showed for him; he became entangled in a pace duel with, Spin The King, and beat that one to the top of the stretch but lost positions late and, Lunar Light, was the winner and that one is here; he gets to shorten to just five furlongs. STAY DETERMINED ran boldly in second for two starts ago; most recently, he had an equally good effort for $0,000 when he gave up the lead desperately late and finished third beaten less than a length; his aggressive style conflicts with some of the others in here who are also high velocity performers. RUN RUN was out of the money for $,000 last time; he will jump in value here and cut back in distance; two starts ago at five furlongs at a lower level, he burst out of the pack in deep stretch with a runner up finish at -. SPIN THE KING has been in front at some point in each of his last three races; most recently, he was in a middle pace fight with, Aaronic Blessing, and he slipped back late in that race; he gets to shorten to just five furlongs. STREET TAIL is getting his first race since September th at Fort Erie when he was out of the money; he was forced to scratch November 0 th and will go here instead for Justin Nixon and Hernandez will move in; he typically picks an aggressive stalking style. EXECUTIVE FIVE finally got clear and got some space with about a furlong remaining last time and he did some late running for just $,0 to be fourth and, Run Run, was better in second. BUTTERFLY STRIKE exits consecutive wins and most recently, dropped in for $,000 to ensure a second victory and he used a more patient style from off the pace at six and a half furlongs; he gets to shorten to five furlongs here with a jump for new interests. LUNAR LIGHT seemed to be taking an improbable jump off a loss for $9,00 to go for $,000 last time but he was favoured and he was able to produce a rally at six furlongs to catch the speed; there is plenty of speed in here again and now he has just five furlongs with which to work this time for Norm McKnight. RACE # BEAR KITTY SOUTHLAND SUGAR RED SAILS 0 THIRTY NINE SEVEN ART OFTHE COVENANT had a good enough race two starts ago to suggest she would be a major player last time and she took support; she finished a willing third when more was expected but a well regarded first place finisher took the top prize. HARLANABELLA was fifth beaten nine lengths last time for $,000 when trying to close inside early in the stretch; she will shorten in distance and drop in price. ROMANTIC BLISS had a couple of races at Indiana Grand before coming here November 9 th for a run on the pace but she acted up in the gate pre race and that probably robbed her of some energy and focus. GOLGOTHA a homebred for Silver Duck Racing Stable, is by Grade winner, Victor s Cry, who thrived on turf; she is from a dam who has produced three winners; Chernetz rides at six furlongs in this opener. QUICK CHILL debuted November th for and was at just five furlongs; she had very good early speed to be in front but was unable to continue in a prominent role. RED SAILS a first time starter goes for Michael McDonald who has had some success in the past with those debuting at lower levels; this one is from a stakes winning dam who has produced three winners; she has worked regularly getting ready for this six furlong opener for. BEAR KITTY a debut runner for Michelle Love, is a sister to, Sevencomingout, a winner at the meeting; she is from a dam who did well as a two year old; she has worked regularly getting ready and had a recent prep at five furlongs; Husbands rides. MISGUIDED PASSION had a race in bad weather two starts ago and understandably was out of the money; she dropped for $,000 for her last outing where she took support but she finished only seventh beaten seven lengths; the runner up has come back to beat, Ark Ofthe covenant. POWER POP really hustled through the stretch at five furlongs two starts ago when second best but didn t have the same type of prolonged energy last time in a disappointing run; she lengthens back out to six furlongs; Hernandez returns after a one race absence. THIRTY NINE SEVEN makes changes today with a cutback from seven to six furlongs and a drop for ; she had every chance to be effective last time as the favourite; she was in contention at the top of the stretch but was finally a weakening third. SILENT DAMSEL chased the pace on the turn last time at seven furlongs then grew weary in the lane; she shortens to just six furlongs. SOUTHLAND SUGAR debuted at long odds November th but did not get out of the gate effectively; she showed some zip in the stretch to advance from sixth to be third finally and there is more distance added tonight from this wide post. SPANISH BLESSING showed promise in her opener then went up to a protected level for her next pair and her speed didn t carry; she is now down for coming from the widest post.

3 JIM S JOURNAL NOVEMBER 9 TH, RACE # 9 FLASHINTHEPANTS BREWS TOONIE TOSS REDWIN ROMP SOMEWHERE OUTTHERE TIMELESS STYLE was using an ineffective speed approach last time and after racing in contention she fell behind in the same race where, My Rosebud, closed a good gap. TORNADO CAT competed last time along the inside and lacked room and clipped heels and lost the rider in mid stretch. BREWS TOONIE TOSS was in a tough race last time for $9,00 at this distance and did well to finish third just behind, Flashinthepants; the fifth place finisher from that race, Londie Lou, has come back to win. REDWIN ROMP was the pacemaker at seven furlongs two starts ago but weakened late; she stalked aggressively at six furlongs last time; she has had interim prepping. BOURBON BABE was down at this level at six furlongs last time and finished just on the edges but without threatening when, My Rosebud, was third. SOMEWHERE OUTTHERE has had two runs since returning and raced from just off the pace two outings ago when a positive third; most recently, she got aggressive on the pace and that style did not work; she has a chance to stalk here. MY ROSEBUD has in the money finishes in four of her last five starts; in her latest she raced from farther back which is an effective style and she closed to get within a length; she has a half furlong more here and rates a look. MISS MEW was in for $0,000 last time and ran adequately with good pace positioning but she was in against a key top pair and had to settle for third; she shortens by a half furlong. FLASHINTHEPANTS came down to the $0,000 mark two starts ago and was flat; she ran better last time when coming off the shelf November 0 th but she was lapped by the winner on the turn and then reported in second with, Brews Toonie Toss, inches behind her in third and she meets that rival here. GOLD DIVER lacked prominence on the pace last time and was finally at the back; the blinkers are off. RACE # BEAR SWAY SEEKING THE BAY MACHO BREW TROUBLE IN PHOENIX SEEKING THE BAY attracted a claim by Norm McKnight November 0 th when just in behind the leaders for $,000; he goes up in value and has been active in the morning since the claim. CUMMINGS ROAD has had a steady diet of sprints lately but will stretch out here; he finished fourth beaten just three lengths for $9,000 last time with some energy on the outside in a high velocity sprint. TROUBLE IN PHOENIX will be going from seven furlongs to a route and perhaps that race will sharpen him; he did run well in a starter event at a route two starts ago when a positive third behind a difficult top pair. MEDIA MELEE was pinched back early last time and that gave him too much to do but he closed on the outside at six furlongs and now extends in distance; he is comfortable at a route. BEAR SWAY won at this distance back in mid September and has been close by in two subsequent route races; in his effort November th, he chased the eventual runner up and both were taken down by a rallying winner and he settled for third; he now competes for. MACHO BREW moved up the ladder last time after a peak race the time before; in that last event for $,00, he had a mild response on the outside and the third place finisher has come back to win; he puts the blinkers on here for Robert Tiller. WORLD OF PROSPECTS was late getting this campaign underway but has now had two sprints and will now extend to a route here and he did win going long last season. BOURBON FIRST competed in the same most recent race as, Bear sway, and had good positioning ready to strike but he stalled on the second turn; like others in here, he has tried to build momentum in the morning.

4 JIM S JOURNAL NOVEMBER 9 TH, RACE # THUNDER POINT - BEST BET ATYPICAL MONEY TALKS 9 PUGSLEY MONEY TALKS got out of the gate more efficiently last time and that was a contributing reason to his much improved performance for $9,00; he got first run at the lead but was finally second best; he drops a level off that peak effort seeking a breakthrough win. TIMINGISEVERYTHING made a five wide advance in his previous event at a route for $,000 to be fourth beaten three lengths; he was similarly on the edges in a sprint last time and the winner has come back to score. UNCORKED SPIRIT was getting just his second race off the shelf November th and there was significant improvement for just $,000 as he took over the lead then was passed by a couple of runners and the winner has come back to beat, Money Talks. ASTERISM attracted a claim for $,00 two starts ago and after a protected race last time, he now comes in for only $,000; he was beaten by a wide margin in that last start. THUNDER POINT is an obvious one here; he campaigned for $,000 with a deep running win last time when the late pace was good and he protected the advantage in the stretch; he now competes for half that price for Norm McKnight. WAR FAN is without a share this season and was at seven furlongs at a price underneath this last time when closing belatedly. FORTIS has had a series of sprints and will now embark on a route; he was awkward departing from the gate last time. ATYPICAL takes the big drop; two starts ago in a starter event, he ran strongly in third beaten two lengths when he started a move three furlongs from home and rallied well; most recently for $,00, he was in the same most recent race as the third place finisher, Thunder Point, and was no match for that one and he is here. PUGSLEY had a big race two starts ago for $,00 when he found a big opening at the top of the stretch but the winner followed him through the opening and beat him to the wire; most recently, he opted for a more aggressive front running style and that did not work. RACE # PENNY STAMP PATSY S STAR BANGLA DANCER MISS FORESTER PRIDDY FAIR PRIDDY FAIR attracted a claim for $,000 September nd and came off the shelf November th to win at that price; she seemingly had lost an early pace battle but came back with a second run to secure the victory for the currently hot Scott Fairlie stable; she is up in value. THIS IS THE WAY was at a route two starts ago and faded; she then tried seven furlongs last time and was ambitious only early; she shortens to six furlongs here. TWO CUTIES competed regularly at Presque Isle and did take a win there in the spring time; she has been freshened since giving away some value late at the meeting. CANNA RED typically offers sharp early speed and carried it relatively well when fifth beaten two and a half lengths last time for $9,00 when Patsy s Star was second. MISS FORESTER is returning from time away; she moved off to Fort Erie to win a race last time; she had also won there earlier in the year; Da Silva rides. PATSY S STAR remains in strong form; at six furlongs for $0,000 last time, she made a move between rivals with the winner and lost in a tight photo; that was her third consecutive good race. GEOCENTRIC was traveling at a fast rate of speed for the classification in the middle stages November st and weakened late to a winner who has already come back to win again; she did have a good race when third against, Patsy s Star, and, Penny Stamp, three outings ago. BIRDIE NUM NUMS was in for $,000 last time and had early speed but backed away; she had won at Fort Erie the time before. CAPTURE YOUR HEART attracted a claim two starts ago and last time at six furlongs, raced off the pace from far on the outside with a positive third place finish; ; Ross Armata takes over the training and Contreras rides here. BUCKDEN HOUSE beat non winners of three in her previous event; she initiated a rally last time for $0,000 but couldn t close effectively against the runner up, Patsy s Star. BANGLA DANCER is one to consider; she dropped for $0,000 last time and had a drafting trip along the inside where she was beaten only a length and a half; in more open spaces, she might have a chance to have a late impact here. PENNY STAMP was a winner three starts ago when claimed and since then has had consecutive runner up finishes against, Patsy s Star; she has been freshened and comes back with the outside post here which gives her a chance for an aggressive stalking trip against her rival.
