1 Welcome to the 2018 HYGAIN Heytesbury Pony Club Inc. Horse Trials Attached is your draw and map for the event this Sunday 4 March Please print your own copy as they will not be available on Sunday. Riders MUST be prepared to ride at their allocated time for Dressage and Cross Country. If absolutely necessary, ride out of their draw order for Show Jumping ONLY and ONLY if they have multiple rides, but must let the marshal know in advance. Please be aware that a lot of work has gone into giving all riders the best spread of times, but as we have lots of multiple rides and small classes sometimes (for jumping phases only) the class will run Open 3, PCAV 3, and back to Open 3: for example, so riders will not necessarily be following the back number before them. Please listen to SJ and XC marshal and be ready to ride at your allocated time or we may not be able to wait for you. Please be considerate of other riders who may be riding more horses or a combination of classes with tighter times than you. If you are only riding one horse please allow riders with multiple horses to jump ahead of you in SJ. If you have a concern regarding your times, you may office@eventsecretary.com.au to discuss your options. Back numbers must be worn for all phases. Gear check for all phases as per PCV rules. 2 Show Jumping course will be open for walking 15 minutes prior to first horse in each section. Please keep an eye on your watch and listen for announcements. Order for show jumping is: Pony Club/Open am Pony Club 2/Open am Pony Club 4/Open am Pony Club 5-1:15pm Pony Club 3/Open pm Cross Country briefing will be at 11.30am at the shed - please be available if your name appears at the list below. Clubs are to organise representative from the names and advise at check in. The cross country cannot commence until all folders and jump judge positions filled. We thank you for filling this role - the event cannot run without you and the riders thank you also. Extensive ground work "power harrowing", has been completed on the course to provide a safe going for horse and rider, please keep to the track that has been provided for you. Cross Country order is: Pony Club 1/ Open pm Pony Club 2/Open pm Pony Club 3/Open pm Pony Club/Open pm We are a very small club and are desperately short of helpers, so if you can provide a helper or pick up a rail etc as announcements are made will make for a more enjoyable day for all! There is a full canteen which will be open for breakfast and PJ's Roast Coffee will also be available. Please no horse washing/shampooing and there are no showers - we are on tank water only and limited supply. We sincerely thank HYGAIN for their support of our club and this event.
