The course has been reviewed and approved by renowned racetrack consultant Martyn Thake for the SCCA. The course is an SCCA approved circuit and also used by the SCCA, NASA, RMVR, PCA, WKA, and Ducati Motorcycles. MPH is the host for nearly 50 events annually. The track has paid host to local, regional, and national events of all types and sizes. The track is home to annual racing events for all sorts of specialty car and motorcycle clubs. Examples of such events would include special racing events just for Corvettes, Mustangs, GTs, Porsches, Vipers, classic muscle cars, Indy cars and many others. They have Grudge Match Street racing events. The track offers HPDE (High Performance Driver Education) lessons taught by certified instructors. In the winter the track hosts drifting events when the track is covered in ice and snow. Enthusiasts come from across the country to participate in racing events. The Track also sells memberships to the Guardrail Club. Members receive special rates on clubhouse and track rental, and are granted occasional use of the track during off hours for themselves and a guest. MPH has been steadily expanding the potential revenue streams for the track. They currently offer Clone (Sportsman) Karts and Tag Karts for rental on designated days. They offer paddock RV rental for events, with 30 spots available with power and access to fresh water, and shower and bathroom facilities for guests without such facilities in their RVs. The clubhouse is available for use on Event days, or it can rented for private events. This beautifully built facility can seat up to 75 people. With advertisement in cities with proximity to Hastings such as Lincoln, Omaha, and Kansas City for major events, large crowds could be drawn, which would in turn increase demand for lots and condos. Race weekends specifically for Covettes, Mustangs, Vipers, Corvair, Classic cars, Porsches, and other models are regularly held. Winter events are held for drifting races.
