2 Welcome to the Shoalhaven Dressage Club s Dressage Championships for SDC Committee Patron: Maurice Bruce President: Alycia Targa Vice President: Tibby Barbour Secretary: Rachel Phillips Treasurer: Kaleena Matthews Committee: Cathie Swan, Cathy Chittenden, Jasna Marasnic, Wendy Christiansen Event Coordinator: Alycia Targa shoalhavendressage@gmail.com Please read conditions of entry below prior to competing ~~CONDITIONS OF ENTRY Please read carefully ENTRIES Scratchings: 50% of the entry fees will be refunded (not admin fee) on presentation of a vet/medical certificate or invoice within 48 hours of the competition commencing. All competitors must present to the gear steward directly before or after each test. Failure to do so may incur elimination. Bridle numbers are compulsory in all Open Competitive events. Green Stallion Discs are compulsory on ALL Stallions. Competitions will be held in accordance with Equestrian Australia National Dressage Rules. CHAMPIONSHIP RULES Champion Rugs will be awarded at each level in Open Competitive and Members only Competitions (not Junior). Points are awarded per placing - ie 1st = 30 points, 2nd = 29 points, 3rd = 28 points etc. On the event of equal points Champion will be awarded to the highest average percentage. There will be Special awards for the following: o Graham Park Stables Off the Track Thoroughbred o Go-Steel Building Products Pony Champion o Tora V PRE & Lusitano Stud Junior Champion o Catherin McMillian Artist Champion AOR o Bucas Horse Rugs Australia Supreme SDC Member Champion All SDC Members are eligible for Supreme Champion SDC Member Rug, awarded to the SDC member with the highest combined 2 percentage scores plus bonus %, according to HOTY Pointscore, which can be found on our website.

3 DRESS Champion Pony Rug awarded to the pony with the 2 highest combined percentage scores on the day, excluding Prep. Champion Junior rug awarded to the junior rider with the 2 highest combined percentage scores on the day. Off The Track Thoroughbred Award- awarded to the thoroughbred horse with the 2 highest combined percentage scores on the day in any Prelim or Novice Competition. Minimum of 3 horses per class for prize money to be awarded, except for FEI competitions. Champion Amateur Owner Rider awarded to the AOR with the 2 highest combined percentage scores on the day, excluding Prep. While riding on the Worrigee Equestrian Common grounds an Australian Approved Helmet and correct riding boots must be worn. Club shirts may be worn in Junior and Members only competitions. Plaiting is not compulsory for junior and Members only competitions. Official competitions as per 2018 National Dressage Rulebook Open Competitive Competitions Horse must be currently registered with Equestrian Australia and have a current dressage card. Rider must be a current and financial member of Equestrian Australia. Owner of the horse must be a current and financial member of Equestrian Australia Members only Competitions Riders must be financial members of Shoalhaven Dressage Club Inc. Junior Competitions Riders must be either financial Members of Shoalhaven Dressage Club Inc or Equestrian Australia Callers are ONLY permitted in Junior and Members only Classes Please observe the speed limits when driving on the Common Grounds Rider of the horse may be changed before the start of competition, with notice given to the committee. DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON A LEAD AT ALL TIMES. No Prams or bikes in the Horse Warm up or competition areas. Coffee van available. There will be a photographer on site.
