18 Healthy Lifestyles Invitational Who: Intermediate and Seniors (may register as team or individual) When: Tuesday June 7th Where: State Roundup Registration through 4-H Connect is required to compete!!! *All of the resources for the invitational contest are posted online at: projects/food-nutrition/. In addition to the contest information and study guide, there are online practices that have been posted for each of the eight topics included in this year s contest. Youth and volunteers may access the online practices at any time between now and June 6 th the day before the contest. The online practices include a quiz and placing class for youth to complete, and once submitted, they will get a summary of their score. The online practices have been developed to provide youth with a taste of how the contest is set up and give them another study and preparation opportunity prior to participating in the state invitational contest. They can also be used at the local level to showcase this invitational opportunity or simply as an educational learning experience.

California Avocado Super Summer Wrap Ingredients: What you need: 1 ripe avocado (seeded, peeled, and cut into chunks) 1/2 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt 1 teaspoon lime juice 1/2 cup blueberries 1/2 cup carrots (grated) 1/4 cup red onion (chopped) 2 cups fresh arugula (chopped) 12 ounces cooked chicken breast (cubed) 4 8" whole wheat tortillas What to do: 1. Mash half the avocado chunks with yogurt and lime juice in a medium bowl. 2. Add remaining filling ingredients, including the rest of the avocado chunks; mix gently. 3. Top each tortilla with 1/4 of filling mixture. 4. Roll tuck in ends. Slice in half diagonally, securing with toothpicks, if needed.
