2 Looking for Warriors.. We are in need of some help for Warrior Wednesday. We want parents to join together every Wednesday morning to pray for our school. There are two opportunities for you to meet by the flag pole, and pray for our school. You can choose to meet at 7:15 a.m. or 7:55 a.m.. We plan to start meeting on Wednesday, October 21st. 6 HARVEST OF COINS Tuesday, in chapel, Mrs. Williams and Mrs. Bustamante spoke to our elementary students to tell them how they can let their lights shine and serve children in Guatemala. Children can bring in coins to fill their class mason jar. Every $10 buys a food basket. The food baskets will include rice, beans, powdered milk, juice, salt, toilet paper and candy for the children. If you would like to help the children in Guatemala, please bring your change to WHCS. Renewal families can now submit applications for the Florida Tax Credit scholarship with Step Up For Students for the school year by accessing their parent login at As you apply, please be mindful of the following: 1. The username will be the address associated with your account. Should you have trouble logging in with this address, please select the "Forgot Password" link and a new, temporary password will be sent to you via Once parents submit the online application, you ll be asked to submit documents to support the application. These documents can be submitted via document upload or via fax. Instructions for submitting documents can be found by selecting the "Print and Send Documents" tab in the parent login. Other employers offer volunteer grant programs Senior Mission Trip to Antigua, Guatemala In May, our senior class will take a mission trip to Antiqua, Guatemala. During their trip they will feed the hungry, work in an orphanage and assist with Vacation Bible School for homeless street children. They will also have the opportunity to experience Guatemala s culture while shopping at the local market and attend a worship service. The seniors are busy raising money to offset the cost of their trip. The names of the senior students, who are going on the mission trip are listed below. We ask for you to please pray for these students as they prepare financially and spiritually for their trip. Please consider financially supporting the students.
