Over the past two seasons, Agoos has helped anchor the men s soccer program s transition back to full NCAA Division I status. Scouting No. 5 New Mexico: New Mexico is overall, 5-0 MPSF on the year and they head into Friday s match ranked No. 5 in the nation. The Lobos are riding a sevengame winning streak, having shutout both Denver, 6-0, on Oct. 14 and Air Force, 1-0, on Oct. 16. Devon Sandoval and Blake Smith lead the offense with seven goals each. Sandoval is also the team s assists leader, with seven. In goal, Victor Rodriguez has started 13 games. He has a 0.64 goals against average, with 31 saves and five shutouts. Javier Lane has played 44 minutes between a pair 4

5 of matches and has a perfect 0.00 goals against average. The Last Time Seattle U Faced New Mexico: The Redhawks lost 2-0 to the UNM Lobos last year in Albuquerque, N.M. on Oct. 22. Ed Walugembe fired four shots, but none found the net during the shutout. the Redhawks prevailed 2-0 over the Rebels. Kevin Cook opened scoring in the second half with a long blast off a free kick and Kyle Peterman tacked on the clincher 13 minutes later. Scouting UNLV: UNLV brings a 2-10 overall, 1-4 MPSF record into the weekend, following a pair of conference losses. They fell 4-0 to Air Force on Oct. 14, and dropped a 5-4 double overtime decision to Denver two days later. The Rebels top goalscorer is Salvador Bernal, who has tallied five goals in 12 contests. Bernal, Jonny Espinoza and Julian Portugal have each contributed two assists this season, as well. Ryan Harding has spent most of the time in between the pipes for the Rebels. In 11 matches, he has a 2.41 goals against average, 45 saves and one shutout. Simon Cook earned one start, allowing four goals and making six saves.
