The match will mark SU s annual Kicks for Breast Cancer game, benefitting the Susan G. Komen Foundation of Puget Sound. Last Time Out: For the second time this season, the Redhawks dropped consecutive matches. They were shutout by Gonzaga, 2-0, on Sept. 30, marking their first loss at home this year. Two days later, they were unable to make the most of their 27-7 shot advantage versus Boise State, falling by an identical score, 2-0. During her 14 coaching seasons, she boasts 13 winning seasons, establishing her as the winningest coach in SU women s soccer history with a overall record and a.704 winning percentage. Seattle University s former two-time NAIA All-American soccer player came home to her alma mater as the head coach of the Redhawks women s soccer program over a decade ago. She has coached the Redhawks to three NCAA Division II Tournament appearances (2004, 2006 and 2007). A 2004 Far West Coach of the Year, she boasts three NSCAA/adidas NCAA Division II honorees, 18 Far West Region selections, three GNAC Player s of the Year, eight GNAC all-conference team honorees and 27 players who have earned NAIA All- America accolades. Her team s have also boasted great academic success in her tenure, including a 2007 NCAA Woman of the Year, five CoSIDA ESPN The Magazine Academic All-Americans and 20 CoSIDA ESPN The Magazine All-District selections. They defeated host-unlv and San Diego State. One For the Books!: SU s 2-0 shutout victory over then-no. 8 Portland was the biggest win in Redhawk women s soccer program history. It also marked the highest win an SU team has earned since reclassifying back to Division I. Scouting Hawaii: The Rainbow Wahine of Hawaii (3-8, 2-0 WAC) travel to the mainland after putting together a pair of victories at home in their WAC weekend opener. They outlasted Utah State on Sept. 30, with a 2-1 double overtime win, and two days later they downed Nevada, Redhawk Women s Soccer The Last Time Seattle U Faced Hawaii: This will be the first-ever meeting between the Redhawks and Hawaii.
