4 Meeting Information This month s Board Meeting will be on Tuesday, August 4th 7:00PM At John Gue s house 80 Rangely Drive Colorado Springs, CO (719) This month s board meeting is open to any member wishing to attend. An event chairperson should plan to attend the board meeting prior to his or her scheduled event. The CSCC general meeting this month will be held at the Inn at Garden Plaza located at 2520 International Circle on Thursday, Sep 6th at 7:00 p.m. Off of Pikes Peak go south on Parkside (by Colorado Music Hall) then go east onto International Circle. Park on the south side in unmarked spaces or on the street. Come through the main entrance and take the elevator down to 1 and go to the Recreation room just outside of the elevators. Immediately following the meeting, we will enjoy dinner and refreshments, see page 9 for details and directions. All guests are welcome.

Still need some help with registration, goodie bags, information table, and low speed autocross. Thanks to all who helped with stuffing party. All bags were filled in 2.5 hours. Joe needs some help with fence construction. Thanks to everyone that has helped. Garage Tours: Rik - Next tour will be on the 20th at Nick Renfro s garage. Please bring lawn chairs. Please for RSVP.
8 4th of July Parade: Pete - We won the best motorized group award. 4th of July BBQ: Winnie - Lots of food, good times, everyone brought lots of food. Thanks to Winnie and Mike for sponsoring this event at their house again. Pagosa Springs: Pete - So far 5 people are signed up for the Car Show in Pagosa Springs. This event coincides with a balloon festival, beer and wine tasting, and live bands. The show is from Pete is working on discounts for the hot springs. New hotel this year. Car show is across from the chamber of commerce, on the east side of the street. Club Picnic: Larry Valentine - It will be at the top of Crystal Park on August 30th. Please pay by August 14th Convention: Walt - People start arriving on Friday night. Both Kumho and Bridgstone will be there. Tech people will be at PPIR. 207 registered for low speed, and 175 for high speed autocross. Over 700 people have registered for the Flying W. Over 700 people have registered for the Woodland Park BBQ. Approximately 765 people are signed up in total. ew Computer: Walt - We made $660 helping VOTR with timing. A proposal was made and passed to spend up to $675 for a new laptop for timing. PMI Drag Racing: Rik - PMI drag racing on Friday at PMI. Starts at 6:00PM. $3.00 to watch and $20-$25 to race. Car and Motorcycle show: Alta - An was sent to the club about a benefit show on August 22nd. There will be food and Hooter girls will model on cars for pictures. Trash Pickup: Ed - August 29th at 8:00AM will be the next trash pickup. Pg. 8

10 Good ews Bad ews suite case: Congratulations to Dick Ary for the winning bid of the good news bad news suite case. Corvette Upgrades Dick Strauch has his new blue 07 coupe. Ed Redlin needs a new clutch. Tom installed new X-pipe on his car. Patty is selling Dick s 67 to pay for the 07. Johnny Harris has his 63 split Z06 running in time for the convention. Paul Thompson has waxed his car. Rik Noring has new tires. Door prizes were $25 gift certificates from Daniels. As always thanks for your support Daniels! For those of you that helped us with registration at the convention, we want to say a BIG THANK YOU!!! With all of your help, it went very smoothly and it seems like people were pleased. We registered about 250 people in the first 1 ½ hours on Friday night. We registered over 750 total and we received many compliments that it was one of the smoothest and best registrations ever and everyone felt welcomed. Also, a BIG THANK YOU to those that helped the night of our stuffing party. We could not have accomplished either of these without you. Thanks, again. Sheryl and Alta Pg. 10
