Friday's game at p.m. will air on SEC Network+. Saturday's p.m. game will be on SEC Network, as will the Sunday finale at p.m. Mizzou and Auburn are meeting for the first time since when Mizzou took two of three at Taylor Stadium, thanks to a - win Saturday and a - series-clincher Sunday. Tanner Houck earned SEC Pitcher of the Week after throwing a complete game fourhitter in the Saturday game, striking out. Mizzou leads the all-time series with Auburn, -, including a - mark since joining the SEC. The two also played in during Mizzou's final season in the Big with Mizzou taking two of three at Plainsman Park. Mizzou has won all four three-game series that it has played vs. Auburn. Mizzou is coming off an SEC series win over west foe Mississippi State last weekend at Taylor Stadium. Mizzou won, -, Friday night behind a strong pitching performance from junior LHP T.J. Sikkema and a pair of clutch RBI singles from senior C Brett Bond. Mizzou then fell, -, Saturday in a -inning marathon despite the Tigers carrying a - lead into the top of the ninth inning. In the Sunday rubber game, Mizzou rallied from down - to score a pair of runs in the ninth inning and then walked it off on an RBI sacrifice fly by freshman INF Mark Vierling in the bottom of the th inning. Vierling also had the game-tying RBI in the bottom of the ninth. In all, Mizzou played innings and hours, minutes of baseball in the three-game series. Mizzou pitchers threw 9 total pitches over the three-game set. Mizzou's Wednesday contest at WIU was cancelled. With a -9 mark in his first 8 games as Mizzou's head coach, Mizzou head coach Steve Bieser is just three wins shy of winning more games in his first two seasons than any Mizzou head coach in history. Tim Jamieson won 8 in his first two seasons at the helm of the program in Bieser needs three wins to match that mark and four to pass it.
