Pre-Game Preparation: Modalities available at all facilities include: whirlpool, hydro collator (hot & cold), ultrasound, electrical muscle stimulation and compression. The visiting team s certified athletic trainer may use modalities. 2. If your team is traveling without a certified athletic trainer, our staff will be happy to provide all pre-game taping and treatments. Please call 24 hours in advance of the competition to let us know what time your team will arrive and approximately how many student-athletes will need treatment/taping. As a courtesy please bring your necessary taping supplies 3. If your team is traveling with an unsupervised athletic training student, modalities will be administered with a written note from ATC or M.D. only.

6 GENERAL INFORMATION Locker Room Facilities: All Locker Rooms are located in Costello Athletic Center. Student-athletes can be dropped off behind the Costello Athletic Center prior to games for locker room use. They will then have to walk to designated field. We, at River Hawk Nation, encourage an open and gender-inclusive environment. We offer facilities/water closets/private shower accommodations for any student-athlete visiting our athletics facilities. If you would like additional information about our facilities please contact our event management staff prior to your arrival. At UMass Lowell along with the America East, we are proud supports of the You Can Play Project supporting and inclusive and safe environment for LGBTQ student-athletes. Team Parking: Visiting Field Hockey, Men s and Women s Lacrosse, Men s and Women s Soccer Teams must direct their bus driver to drop them off in back of Costello off of Riverside Street. There is bus turn around at the end of the road next to our parking garage. Once athletes are dropped off you will then head back up the same road, and take a right onto Riverside Street. Then take your first right onto Sparks Street. You will see an entrance closest to our track and field hockey complex. You may park there until contest is over. Visiting Women s Volleyball, Men s and Women s Basketball Teams must direct their bus driver to drop them off in back of the Costello Athletic Center off of Riverside Street. Once athletes are dropped off you may park the bus/van in the bus turn around next to the parking garage. Visiting Baseball Teams must direct their bus driver to drop them off beside LeLachuer Park and the East Parking Garage. Once athletes are dropped off you may park the bus behind LeLachuer Park.

7 Visiting Softball Teams must direct their bus driver to drop them off beside the field on Soloment Way behind Dugan Hall. Once athletes are dropped off you may park the bus further up on Soloment Way. Spectator Parking: For visiting spectators, parking is available in the lot directly behind our Soccer Field and or Field Hockey field. You will not be able to park in the parking garage. For visiting baseball fans, parking is available in the East Parking Garage located directly next to LeLacheur Park. For visiting softball fans, parking is available in the Broadway/Riverview Lot located directly across the street from Riverview Field. Pet Policy: Spectators are allowed to bring their pets to the Cushing Field Complex and River View Field. Pets must be leashed and stay with their owners at the designated pet area. Pets are not allowed at the Costello Athletics Center, LeLacheur Park and Tsongas Center. 13 DIRECTIONS TO UMASS LOWELL FACILITIES Cushing Field Complex & Costello Athletic Center: 261 Riverside St. Lowell, MA From Route 3 or 495, take the Lowell Connector to exit 5B. Proceed to the 7 th set of lights and bear to the left at Cobblestones Restaurant on Arcand Drive. At the next set of lights, turn left onto Father Morrisette Blvd. Continue straight to the third set of lights (after the bend in the road) and take a right. Cross the Merrimack River to the next set of lights. The University is in front of you. Proceed to the next set of lights and take a right onto Riverside Street. Go past two buildings on the right and Costello Athletic Center is located adjacent to the large parking lot; Cushing Field Complex is located behind the large parking lot.

14 LeLacheur Park: 450 Aiken St. Lowell, MA From Route 3 or 495, take the Lowell Connector to exit 5B. Proceed to the 7 th set of lights and bear to the left at Cobblestones Restaurant on Arcand Drive. At the next set of lights, turn left onto Father Morrisette Blvd. Continue strait to the first set of lights, turn left and go to the end of the street. Turn left at the Mills and go strait. The ballpark will be a right at the next intersection. River View Field: 883 Broadway St. Lowell, MA From Route 3 or 495, take the Lowell Connector to exit 5B. Proceed to the 4 th set of lights turn left onto Fletcher St. At second set on lights (Market Basket is on right) take a left onto Broadway St. and follow to field.
