This is a prly designed intersectin fr all traffic n 106 Street that wishes t travel suth. As an intersectin fr ccasinal drivers wh wish t access the neighbrhd east f 106 Street, it is fine, but it has nw turned int a majr intersectin since everyne wh wants t travel suth must turn east there. Why is it a pr intersectin - It's n a hill. -It's slippery in winter. -It's a hazard fr pedestrians wh wish t crss 56 Avenue. -It's hard fr peple wh travel frm the suth, ging nrth-bund, t see vehicles turning nt 56 Avenue, in time t safely stp. -It encurages peple t make u-turns, further nrth (arund the schl), in rder nt t have t turn east n 56 Avenue. 3 P age

4 60 A Avenue has becme an incredibly busy rad at dismissal time. It is nt safe fr children r adults. The issues caused by making 106 Street ne-way nly, suth f the schl, has resulted in mre peple using 60A Avenue. With winter and snw appraching, there are many traffic snarls n this avenue, causing lng line-ups. It's als difficult fr the bus t depart (ging east-bund) after schl due t the increased traffic n this street. Finally, I think it's unfrtunate that the Traffic Measures have caused rifts amng many f the lng-term residents in the area. The peple living n 105 Street have seen a large increase in an area that shuld nt be used as a thrughfare. 105 Street is n lnger a calm, neighburhd street. It has made me a shrt cutter in my wn neighbrhd Bike lanes nt cleared r well-kept in winter Sme peple are even ging wrng way n 106St. Signage is nt clear fr ccasinal visitrs t the area 106 St. I must drive further t access my wn huse. 105 St & 55 Ave many fail t recgnize and stp at stp signs Traffic line up suth bund n 105 St and 51 Ave. Many vehicles cming up the ne way ff f Calgary trail (illegal flw f traffic) Vehicles are nt using Allard Way 106 Ave traffic reduced 55 Ave traffic increase east and west bund Shrtcutting increased significantly 105 St very busy, lined up at stp signs crssing 55 Ave. Have yu mnitred increased vlumes n: 80 Ave, 76 Ave, 72 ave all because yu can t use 106St. Traffic has been reduced n 106 St t accmmdate a very few peple but traffic has been increased a lt fr many mre peple Traffic n 106St has increased, but that is nt any different than n any ther rad in an lder neighbrhd. Traffic has increased. There will be mre accidents n 105 St. this street is nt meant t handle this amunt f traffic. This cannt remain as is. Speeding n 106 St majr prblem. A few weeks ag a van came suth n 106St thrugh the d nt enter while we were travelling nrth. It was dark ut-and scary t have this happen. Parking culd be restricted t ne side nly t ease mvement. If shrt cutting is reduced, but speeding is still a prblem, des this mean it s the lcals that are a speed prblem? This is a larger issue. I live in Duggan and all my rutes all jammed. 11 St, 10, 114 & Calgary Trail 106 is inaccessible.
